The Constitution provides that an oath-breaking insurrectionist is ineligible to be president. Perhaps the stupid fucktarded democrats should pay attention to the first section of the 14th amendment:

You can't just declare Trump "guilty of insurrection" when he was not been charged with that, much less found guilty of it, under due process of law. JFC. What kind of fucking "law" professor doesn't grasp that simple fucking fact?
I seemed to have missed the actual insurrection trial against Trump. You know, the trial that did not involve political hacks like Adam Schiff, Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, etc. etc. The trial where actual evidence and not the wishful thinking of Democrats is used.
That aside, these liberal “thinkers” are just pissed that Trump and various groups supporting Trump challenged the 2020 election on various legal grounds instead of merely going along with their elite leaders. We get to do this in the United States, and it’s constitutional. This country was founded by people who pissed and moaned, grumbled, complained, groused, challenged and contested how the British were treating their colonies. Less than 100 years later, people pissed and moaned, grumbled, complained, groused, challenged and contested the issue of slavery and states’ rights and bang; we were in a civil war.
So what are those fine morons at the Hill doing now? Contesting the 2024 election and trying to prevent Trump from taking office although he won both the popular vote and the electoral college, and their preferred method to accomplish this is “let’s make some shit up.” They should file their article under a discussion of “What Is Hypocrisy?”

All these 14th Amendment advocates seem to forget one major plot point. Not only has Donald Trump never been convicted of “insurrection” (whatever their definition is on a given day) but he hasn’t ever even been CHARGED with insurrection by whatever the legal definition is.
This has been pointed out over and over and over and the never=Trumpers just stick their fingers in their ears and shout, “LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA I CAN’T HEAR YOU!”
