The Hillary Standard – IOTW Report

The Hillary Standard

Meet the mother of the sailor that is serving 1 year in federal prison for taking pictures inside a nuclear submarine.

Hillary runs for president, this guy’s life is derailed.

Should Trump pardon him?

I think he should, but only if he says he’s doing it as a protest over Obama’s administration protection of crooked Hillary

*At 4:31 Hannity calls Hillary “Killary.”

  1. There is clearly a double standard for Hillary, Senators, Representatives, political connected, the politically appointed and for that matter professional Sports figures and others.

Justice is not blind nor is it equal, that is clearly conveyed by our State’s Attorneys, Prosecutors, courts, DOJ, US Attorneys, the FBI, the Military and the Supreme Court in case after case.

The federal, state and county judiciary and its individual arms have become a segment of the swamp that needs to be drained.

I, like others, am guilty of voting to retain local judges without knowledge of their records or the cases they judge.
The federal Judges are politically supported and appointed, there have been independent judgements which allows for the perception of being unduly influenced.

  2. Tough call on this one. If the phones were “legal” at the time of the pictures, and everybody else who did this got much lighter punishments, then the only difference here is that his phone was lost and the FBI got involved. Is that enough to warrant a prison sentence? I dunno. Apparently it is.

Still, one person getting away with a crime does not justify everybody else doing it. However, the plain fact is, there are always “special rules for special people”, and we all know Hillary is oh, sooo special.

  3. No he shouldn’t but maybe there can be a scale of your violation. Hillary certainly put more of our security at risk. Also Petraeus needs to be jailed as well.
What happened to the soldier who sent a warning to other soldiers Afghanistan? That was classified information but he saved their lives.

  4. He should serve his time. He knew the rules and broke them. Trump shouldn’t pardon a guilty person just to show two levels of justice as that would be just as injurious to the system as two levels. What he should do, or to be more correct his new head of the DOJ should do, is decide on his own to reopen Clintons handling of documents as well as review the initial investigation and make a decision as to whether to prosecute or not. Judging by what has come out there should be a trial in Clinton’s future (one of perhaps many).

  5. were the photo’s for a family album to remember his time in service or were they to be sold to our enemies?
When I was in the service my staff sgt. took away my camera because I was taking photos of my base camp to send home to mom/dad, He stomped my camera to bits and said it was illegal… I was lucky I guess.

  6. Most who have not served in the submarine component do not
understand the depth and severity of the handling terms
related to NNPI. From what I’ve read, his phone was carrying
pictures of things State Governors are not allowed to see. The
classification of Confidential is not what plugged him, it was
the NNPI pictures that put him there.
So yes, they want to talk you into releasing him, but he
crossed the Navy NNPI line and you won’t recover from that.
Shrillary is a different story and a different department.

    And yes, I’m a bubblehead.
