Lack of seltzer killed comedy…
As a kid soda jerk and hamburger flipper in our store, I used to make fountain cokes, rootbeers, vanilla cokes, chocolate cokes, chocolate cherry cokes and phosphates using the gas tank that was hooked up to water to make the fountain specialties.
This brought back memories of around 66 years ago.
I bet there are still a lot of Seltzers left in Brooklyn…Larry Seltzer, Benjamin Seltzer, Murial Seltzer, etc.

I haven’t been for years but Leopold’s ice cream shop, in Savannah since 1919, still had and used seltzer bottles.
