The Left Losing Its Collective Mind Over President’s Golf Video

Snopes

The post, receiving over 5 million views, shows Trump driving a golf cart with two men walking nearby, both accompanying him as caddies. In the video, one of the caddies leans down and, without fully turning around, tosses a golf ball behind him on the fairway. The ball then bounces and rolls a short distance before settling, presumably making it easier for Trump to hit than where his previous stroke landed. Isn’t it the responsibility of those sharing the card with the President to file a complaint if they object to his play? Oh, it’s not a serious game. Then shut the hell up or buy your own golf course and enforce your own rules you bunch of worthless scolds. – Dr. Tar

  1. The same Democrats who are all worked up about this and none other than the same Democrats who are just hunky dory with Democrat faggots filming themselves getting corked in the ass in a Senate meeting room.

  2. No one I know observes every rule of golf when playing a non-competitive round. There are no course officials to mark where your ball went if it’s not on the fairway, so if you can’t find it, you just throw another one down roughly where you think it landed. I’ve played with guys who take a mulligan everytime they hit a drive out of bounds. Hit it into the water? Many people take a drop on the other side of the hazard. Do you find out you hit your ball out of bounds on the drive? On public courses, you will piss off a lot of people if you go back to the tee to observe the stroke and distance penalty. Hit a provisional ball without indicating it’s a provisional? Penalty. Ball in tree roots? Most people move it so as not to damage clubs. Ball on the cart path? Most people take a drop in a playable area, which may not necessarily be the closest point of relief. Move that pesky tree branch out of the way so as not to impede your swing? Also a penalty. Gimmies? No such thing exists in the rules. I’ve really never seen anyone take their driver out to measure where a drop should be – another violation. Golfers kick their ball out of a divot, or nudge the ball into a better lie when in the rough – both penalties. Screw up a three foot putt in stroke play and then take a couple of extra practice putts? You got it – rule violation.

I’m a mid-handicapper at best. If someone is serious about their handicap – usually a scratch golfer or very low single digit handicap – you should observe the rules if you turn your card in (which must be witnessed, if not – rule violation). Tournament play or competitive round? Observe the rules. If not, and particularly for us mid to high handicaps, enjoy the round and the course and have fun.

Incidentally, experts have estimated that if golfers strictly observe the rules of golf, most of us wouldn’t break 100 although our score card may show 90 or better. I’ve played with people who brag about shooting in the low 80s although they took a mulligan on half the holes or considered anything inside of 4 feet a gimme. It’s a difficult game, and the hardest part is to enjoy the experience even if your round is “sub-par.”

  3. And Clinton had sex with a young girl in the White House, G.W. Bush blew up the World Trade Center and killed 4,000 American, Obama is a faggot communist from Kenya,…. It’s all the same!

  4. Where was Snopes when Biden was sweating like a whore at confession as he was dragging that 2 lb beach chair to the sand?

Reporter: “What kind of ice cream did you get, Mr. President?”
    Biden: “Choca Chocolate Chip”
    Reporters: “ooooh…” *clapping and giggling*

  5. My kids play put, put or mini golf. I’m not a player of the game, but have been recruited to referee and sort out matches and I’ll be damned if I can keep pace with the evolution of the rules. There have been matches in which the rules changed between each hole, or maybe even two or three times on a single hole.

I’m also the promotor, financial backer and cheering section.

  6. Snopes was chosen because, unlike most leftist sites that covered this, it kept the personal opinion to a minimum.

In addition, reliably right leaning sites chose to ignore this story, which is completely understandable. We all know it’s whiff but watching the left lose it over something so trivial to the numerous disasters being visited upon their side by the president is pretty funny. It’s seems complaining about his non-tournament play is the only thing they have left to defend themselves with.
