I would not say that those who identify as Dems are supporting anything just because of party lines. Most Dems that I know willingly and wholeheartedly believe every single thing the far left puts out and are as militant as the MSM about demonizing those that do not agree with them. The others are in denial about what their party has been about, and think the Dems are still the party they were in 1960.
Seems their belief system is highly dependent on what PBS Documentaries they watch. Just take a look and watch sometimes on political issues via PBS “Frontline”.
I quit watching PBS documentaries years ago, they went far left back in the late 70’s and early 80’s and have only become more radical and anti-American since then.
