No, I am not watching baseball. But I do, every once in awhile, check some game highlights. (Hey, it’s hard to just abandon all habits. I’ve been a Mets fan my entire life.)
I’ve noticed something I never noticed before. I’ve noticed that the Mets are racist. They’ve been flashing the white supremacy symbol all year.
The odd part, though, is that some of these white supremacists aren’t white.
Go figure.
I did some reading. Turns out the Mets were told that the symbol they are flashing is racist. Guess what? They ignored the pillow biting scolds who live to “cancel” people, and carried on with their completely innocent hand gesture.
As for this symbol, the Mets call it The Churve. Here’s what it’s all about-
The symbol was originally an homage to the way Mets pitcher Joey Lucchesi holds his pitch. (Reminiscent of the circle change which was very popular a few decades ago.)
But something tells me the Mets are poking a finger in the eye of the woke people who implored that they stop their “symbol of hatred” and are now doing it whenever someone delivers a big hit.
The MetsPolice.com, was wringing their hands over this-
..the Mets might want to read this article called “The OK Hand Gesture Is Now Listed As A Symbol of Hate” on NPR.
…the Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish civil rights organization, added 36 symbols to its “Hate on Display” database including the index finger-to-thumb sign that in some corners of the Internet has become associated with white supremacy and the far right.
Here at Mets Police the only things we hate are black uniforms and Pete Alonso’s vulgar t-shirts and hashtags, so we encourage the Mets to renounce hate and to educate themselves on The Churve. The media too.
Now do I think the Mets were like “Hey let’s post some symbols of hatred” – of course not. However, now they would have no excuse to do it again. Just pick something else guys.

No. Stick with it guys. The only people who think this is a “symbol of hate” are the people who have made a cottage industry out of division and hatred, and morons who simply cannot think for themselves.
“..the Mets might want to read this article called “The OK Hand Gesture Is Now Listed As A Symbol of Hate” on NPR.”
…and I don’t give a shit about your list, no one made you the arbiter of what is and is not acceptable expression, you have no authority whatsoever to impose your personal taste and prejudices in hand gestures on me or anyone else in the world, and there is no exception in the Constitution for “things NPR and other liberal organizations say are bad.
So go fuck yourself.
…or, since you like gestures…
🖕, 👌?
Remember the guy in Commieforni who had his hand outside his truck door and lost his job for doing this?
I use this all the time out in public and I have had zero reaction so I’m assuming this only is a signal for a far leftist lunatic. Who can keep up with all the liberal dogma/insanity.
This could almost turn me into a Mets fan.
Actually, all they’re doing is ordering a beer.
“Make the three-ring sign to ask the man for a Ballantine”.
Hey getcha koh beah!
Hey hey getcha Ballantine!
Hey getcha koh beah!
Getcha ice koh Ballantine beah!
Can someone tell me we’re to find the hand signals. There must be a newsletter I am not getting.
Good for the Mets.
Yogi was a white supremacist.

I don’t watch.
The way MLB allows pitchers to grease up the balls with sticky shit and get away with it have ruined the game.

What!
I thought it meant “You’re an asshole”.
When the Pirates give up 13 runs a game (sometimes, an INNING), “Joe’s Truck Stop Little League team” would be flashing “OK” against Pittsburgh… 😳
