Patriot Retort: Sometimes the news media inadvertently gets to the heart of the truth.

And after yesterday’s Funeral/Anti-Trump rally, the AP had a moment of unvarnished honesty.

Now, the AP’s objective here wasn’t to land on the truth.
No, the objective was to attack the President for having the temerity not to spend his Saturday donning sackcloth and ashes over the funeral of John McCain.
But in their attempt to attack President Trump, the AP landed on exactly why Donald Trump won the election to begin with.

Anyone who considers himself as “elite” can go pound sand. We don’t have royalty in this country.
When I first glanced at the story, I thought it said, “…….gathered at St. John McCain’s memorial.”
Funny the elite are only elite in their minds, based upon what they have amassed through political cronyism and corruption.
Very few would ever be asked inside my home for any purpose.
I believe in the political elite, the men of old, like Churchill. They served God and country. People like this hardly exist anymore;; they have been replaced by a self-serving brood whose love of money and power is only surpassed by their love of self.
the political and social elite were there to mourn their demise, and to lash out at the new guard in the form of DJT and his voters. How dare the American people spurn them! How dare they vote for a non-career swamp reptile! Oh they are steamed and it showed during the week long mccain burial-fest (at the taxpayer expense I am sure). Screw these people, they are control freak communists at heart and could not care less about this country and its people. Keep going DJT, make deeper cuts in the federal beast, cut regulations, cut taxes and starve this behemoth that has given us $21T in debt, a third world invasion, and pointless wars without end that cost us a fortune in lives and $.
If you ever get a chance to read The Last Puritan by George Santayana assuming you can find a copy of it at the library or a good used book store read it because he explained in a nutshell how the elites think of themselves as better than everyone else due to their pedigrees and educational backgrounds at Ivy League colleges. They honestly believe that they’re morally as well as financially and spiritually superior to us plebes who live life experiencing it one day at a time thru God’s grace. It is also one reason that liberal guilt is so prevalent in elite circles because they think that they’re better than us and we should bow and kowtow to their so called wisdom. BULLSHIT! Man’s wisdom gets us into trouble every time we think that we are smarter than God. This is a truly great book that needs more publicity and hasn’t been in print or available since probably the 1930’s. I came across it as a fluke after reading about it from what Russell Kirk had to say about it and was totally surprised my local public library still has a copy of it in circulation after all these years. Keep on reading, you may be pleasantly surprised about what you can find if you just look for it.

I had a hard time watching CNN (I was at the gym HAD NO CHOICE!) determining If GWB hated “Deplorables” more than Obama. But 1 thing was crystal clear – THE FIRST 2 AMERICAN PRESIDENTS OF THE 21ST CENTURY BOTH LOATHE US “DEPLORABLES”!

I voted for Trump for a variety of reasons. First, running Dole was a big mistake. It was pretty obvious that he didn’t have a shot, but they did it anyway. Then when they ran McCain I thought OMG this is another Dole! Really???
And of course look what happened. We got saddled with the worst President in American history!
Then Romney showed up, lost and left us wondering what exactly do we have to do???
So then in 2012 we gave the Republicans the majority in the House…. and they did nothing.
Then in 2014 we gave them the majority in the Senate… and they did NOTHING!
Myself and a LOT of other Americans had had it with these career politicians selling us the same old plain vanilla ice cream on every election cycle and Donald Trump represented a real breath of fresh air, a radical departure from same old, same old and was saying things we desperately wanted to hear!
Now we can plainly see that not being a charter member of the Old Boys Club has pissed off both sides, so I just can’t help but think that “the nation’s political elite” have been having a lot of fun at our expense all this time simply passing the baton back and forth while America decays!
Now imagine if Hillary had somehow won. All of this skullduggery that has been occurring for years right under our noses would have been swept under the rug and left for the “conspiracy nuts”!
Some conspiracy all right!!
If it weren’t for Donald Trump just imagine how much we would not know, including the depths that the totally biased “Media” will stoop to!!

Let’s hope the governor of Arizona does not put etiher of the McCain women in his senate seat. Senate seats are not something that should be passed down through the

Someone once told me or I saw a list of the 100 greatest American books and one of the books was An American Tragedy by Theodore Dreiser. I tried reading it and couldn’t figure it out why it was supposedly such a great book since it promoted abortion among the elites in the early part of the 20th Century, needless to say I never finished it. Why they consider garbage like this to be such a great book I’ll never know except it shows that nothing is new with our so called elites.
Just maybe we’ll find out another load of reasons Trump did not Mourn for Johnny, the guy was a Traitor to this Nation and did more damage than good.
