Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee released examples of Facebook ads paid for by Russian actors during this afternoon’s hearing with Facebook, Google and Twitter. Ads were displayed in the hearing room to drive home their concern about foreign governments “weaponizing” social media content.
The details: According to the metadata attached to the ads, they targeted both Republicans and Democrats and were paid for in rubles. The ads were intended to stoke discord on divisive issues such as religion, racial issues and immigration.
Facebook’s chief lawyer said Wednesday afternoon that the company had not found overlap between the targeting used by Russian trolls meddling in the 2016 election and the Trump campaign…

When will the so called ” Dreamers” be indicted for meddling in our political process? They are lobbying congress as well as threatening elected officials.
Russia isn’t our main enemy – our politicians and elitists are the main enemy. Just as Hillary Clinton and the left did after the election, Mueller is engaged in trying to find a bad guy for people to focus on instead of looking at the Democrat party. Russia fits this role well because we don’t have the economic ties to Russia that we do with China, and because Mueller seems heavily influenced by cold-war era James Bond movies.

My wife watched Democrat shill mouthpiece CBS News last night, I caught the piece where they were breathless, apoplectic even, that this all proves Russian interference in the election is threatening our democracy. And that President Trump was proven wrong when he called it all a hoax. They played the Trump soundbite and brought Democrat “experts” on to tout how wrong Trump was.
You and I look at this and immediately realize IT IS A HOAX.
But CBS, the Washington Post, the NY Times are all spending valuable air space and front page headlines touting this as a big deal, and that the Trump Administration is somehow negligent for not making this nothingburger a bigger deal that needs fixed.
