The Real Reason Critics Hate ‘Rambo: Last Blood

HIT:

Hollywood taste makers want the industry’s messaging to flow from one direction only.

Even Inspector Clouseau could spot the media’s distaste for the fifth “Rambo” installment.

“Rambo: Last Blood” hit theaters Sept. 20, racking up a solid, but unspectacular $19 million. While fans cheered Sylvester Stallone’s latest sequel, critics loathed it.

The 28/85 critic-audience split over at RottenTomatoes.com says it all.

Many critics called “Last Blood” hateful, racist and brimming with pro-Trump talking points. More than a few scribes said the film’s plot echoed the Commander in Chief’s border enforcement stance. read more

  1. The first one was good. All the remaining were far fetched and unbelievable. This one sounds like a plausible storyline maybe worth a watch. Haven’t been to a theater in a good long time but I may go see it. Plus the musicians and the actors I enjoyed growing up are all disappearing. Might as well enjoy them while they’re here.

  2. There’s another movie out that the critics hate. Angel Down. It’s a Deep State thriller with lots of action and some good humor. Rotten Tomato’s has it at 32, viewers have it at 98.

  3. If white people are killing brown people, even if they deserve it, watch out, the Uncle Toms won’t stop wailing and beating themselves up over it, just make sure they get nodding approval from other brown people.

  4. I ain’t going to spend my dollars to support Stallone, not since he went Full Libtard (you NEVER go Full Libtard) calling for the seizure of all guns, after Phil Hartman was killed.

  5. When the critics are this collaborative in their condemnation of a movie – it motivates people to go watch the movie even if they’re not huge S^2 fans or think the Rambo character formula passed its expiration date years ago, a few movies ago.

I did that yesterday, but really wanted to see the Goldfinch, another movie with low 26% rating by the critics ( too much white privilege ‘n stuff) but 85% audience approval. Might have been more unpredictable than – John Rambo warns innocent naive person / people don’t go there where people with black evil hearts will kill you, they go anyway, JR rescues the ones not dead, and brutally kills all or most of the bad guys ( the most pleasing parts of Rambo movies),

  6. All 5’6″ of sly and the fact that he’s pushing 74, I’d say he’s taking pretty good care of himself….
