Are they abusing the integrity of the game, or are they simply the most entertaining baseball team ever?

The other question is, re they good?

The Bananas won 13-3 to become the CPL Champions in 2021.

  1. Savannah Georgia is one of the best US cities I’ve ever visited. I go there every year. Thought of moving there for a bit. It’s got all the charm of Charleston with the sleaze of New Orleans. It’s beautiful in the spring. It has libtard overtones (SCAD in particular), but you get a feeling you KNOW who is in control. I’ve never run into anyone down there who wasn’t nice, and pretty genuine at that. One night I was invited to sing with a Black Acapella group, I had a blast. They had a baseball team called the “Sand Gnats” too.

    Great place.

  2. Lots of homeless encampments in Savannah on way into city, along the highway. Saw people living in the bushes.
Civil service office buildings had lots of homeless lurking about. This was nearly 10 years ago. May be cleaned up now.

  3. I was thinking White Marsh or Wilmington Island, Pooler is full of snotty Yuppies. Tybee is too expensive. No thought of it anymore now we’re a red state. Love me some rural.

  4. Fur, you might have been there for “Orange Crush”. Black invasion of Tybee beach. I remember those people camped out too. They did clean that up. Made drinking on beach or playing loud music illegal, and brought in 1 cop for every 5 civvies. I think they’ve given up now, last year not a homeless in sight. Going in a few weeks for the 15th year in a row interrupted by some disease in 2020 once… 🤔
