  1. The demographic that actually subscribes to AppleTV will eat this up.

This draws a nice, neat, delineated line between good (a mixed-race liberal family with some gender ambiguity, highlighted in episode two, who have all the right bumper stickers and donate to all the right causes) and bad (White Christian folks who like their guns, distrust the government, and want to be left alone to practice their faith and excercise their rights).

Next up, a series about a maniacal real estate developer, so charismatic and diabolical that he persuades the basket of deplorables to vote him into office, where, once elected, he will systematically dismantle the Constitution and turn dictator. Nothing will stop him except for a commie ex-bartender, an old socialist from Vermont who palled around with Fidel, and a bleached-haired old hag of questionable Indian ancestry. Of course, the MSM will lend a hand, those paragons of virtue that they are.

  2. I remember an older TV series, where the MC gal’s boss tells not to visit a mass murderer(a guy), that the murderer had requested. MC gal replied that that was a guy’s point of view, and that she was a gal and would do things differently. Surprised when the story went on to show the bad results of ignoring a guy’s viewpoint on dealing with a guy.

  3. At least she’s not an assassin. Seems like everything on TV is about hitmen. I think actual hitmen are about as common as right-wing domestic terrorists. Most hitmen are actually just posing as hitmen to entrap people for the government. So maybe La Savant is one of those.

Now, what were we talking about?

  4. Gunsmoke is good. For easy watching, Green Acres is good and sometimes funny..I haven’t watched much teevee lately. I don’t get many channel’s but if Combat was to come on I’d give it a try, same with All in the Family.

Bro, I think I typed this before, but if not here goes. My youngest grandchild, Hoss, as I refer to him, had his Baptism last winter. And to my surprise every last one of the AZ relatives showed up at my house to celebrate. Long story short things are winding down and I find a marathon Combat thing going on on some obscure ROKU channel. I require lots of sleep these days. I rolled out at 6:30 am next morning and all the guys were still drinking beer and watching Combat. A few of them proclaimed it a life changing event.
