Soldier Demonstrates How Alton Sterling Could Have Posed a Deadly Threat to Cops Who Shot Him EVEN WITHOUT HOLDING HIS GUN
We hear too much from these nitwits. How many times, after the cops shoot a machete wielding maniac in a downtown setting, “why didn’t they shoot him in the foot?”
Now we have morons with access to Twitter and Facebook outraged that the police snuffed out a child-molester with a rap sheet that can hang lower then his saggy pants because the gun he had was in his pocket.
Over and over and over on Twitter we hear from the knucklehead brigade that the cops were murderers because “the gun was still in his pants.”
Well, dum-dums, watch this.
Somewhere along my travels, I found that a person with a knife, that is something like 15-20 feet away from you can stab you in the chest in under 2 seconds.
This means that using your gun defensively, you have less than 2 seconds to react. That’s all it takes, 2 seconds and someone is going to get hurt.
Here I believe this is what I was getting at.

Too bad black men like this are in a very small minority.
I just was over at Salon reading their glowing column on the armed robber who was told to STOP reaching for…whatever and was shot. The typical, he was such a good man, the children loved him, he will be sorely missed by everyone, the cops are murderers…blahblahblah.
Not one mention(until I commented) of the officers telling dispatch that they are pulling his car over because the driver looks like an armed robber caught on video.
The haters read this kind of shit in Salon and it stokes their insanity. Videos like this one are sadly, like water on a duck’s back.
I once stopped a taxi cab and dragged a 20 year old white kid out of the back seat because he closely resembled an IDentiKit representation of a robbery suspect. Turns out it wasn’t him; I then drove him home with my apologies. I gave him the picture to keep because it was like a freaking photograph of him, it was that close.
We use the tools of the trade to develop probable cause to make arrests. Sometimes it all turns to shit in a heartbeat and there’s not a thing you can do about it but stay in bed and don’t go to work. I don’t know any cop who started his shift expecting to shoot someone.
“I donβt know any cop who started his shift expecting to shoot someone.”
Bet many do now.
And not one started his shift expecting to be shot at either….the worst shitstorms I ever got in to were on what started out to be boring, uneventful shifts. You just never know what the next call is going to be.
