The Trump administration unveiled a new military recruitment advertisement that zeroes in on the Armed Forces’ mission of “war fighting” and a return to “peace through strength,” also the title of the ad.
The 90-second ad aired Sunday during the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina.

Keeping Israel’s foreign policy moving forward? Keeping the military industrial complex wealthy?
Kill people.
Break things.
Ware with China in a few years. It will make WW2 look like a picnic. Probably will go nuclear.

You are so wrong here. We’ve been a military/aerospace shop since Christ was a kid. How would people like Lindsey Graham profit off the Neocon machine? Only one obvious way, stocks. Please review the stock prices for the military primes over the last 10 to 20 years. Mouse nuts. There’s no doubt asshole like Miss Lindsey are getting well taken care of by fanning the flames of war. The Military Industrial Complex at the prime level is a myth. There’s obviously some big money involved here. But not at that level.
Establish standards.
Both physical and mental.
Adhere to them.

If a war-fighter needs to be able to run a mile carrying a 60 lb. pack, then so be it.
America needs to do the right thing. We have been mixing it up in the Middle East for my entire lifetime. Whether it’s been at Israel’s behest, or for oil, or because the American war industry wants to keep the fighting up to make money, they are all wrong.
Now we are involved in a proxy war with Russia through Ukraine, which is sad because in the 90s we had a perfect opportunity to make Russia a strong geopolitical and economic partner. We blew it. Now we just supported Ukraine in escalating the war by this latest attack. This IS now Trump’s war.
Now Hegseth is beating the war drums with China over Taiwan. Why? How is their territorial dispute our business. Who made us the referees of the world? This administration is going to spread us even more thin than Obama and Biden. That’s not replenishment. That’s not a strong defense.
I voted for Trump because he said he would keep up out of unnecessary conflict. He wanted to negotiate. I love that. But our negotiations cannot be strictly transactional deals, as if this is a business arrangement and the U.S. gets all the prizes. We need to make things right. We have caused much of the chaos and it’s time we showed some proper contrition.
