Every time I see someone in public wearing a mask now, they are wearing it on their chin.

And even behind the Plexiglass, even though the plebians trudging by were masked to the eyeballs (and sometimes beyond because some wore face shields too), these gals WHO WERE PRESUMEDLY TRAINED TO WORK WITH INFECTUOUS DISEASES wore their OWN masks as well, lest they be infected by the halitosis of the humbled humanity on the other side of their quarter inch of unbreakable Lexan.

…to me, thats the worst of it, the irreperable damage they did to the medical community, which may not be apparent to kids today but that I can compare myself to the pre-Obamacare medical professionals of 30 years ago that I was intimately familiar with as I brought them patients on a regular basis. Then, Fauci tried to pull all this crap with AIDS too, but docs and hospitals were MUCH more independant then and medical professionals had their own minds, their own common sense, and could use their own medical judgement.
Now, corporate medicine, Goverment takeover of health care via Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, and lawfare like HIPAA (itself a child of AIDS so AIDS patients could prevent disclosure even to medical professionals) has apparently driven old line doctors out, leaving the openings to be filled by DEI hires trained in woke indoctrination centers, and so this is what you get; bright young women taking what proved to be a single irrelevant metric from inside a scratch built kiosk behind a flakey piece of paper when they SHOULD be actively involved in gaining real-world experience in treating people who are ACTUALLY SICK.
…gotta hand it to the Commies, though. When they set out to destroy something, destroy it they do, even if its an entire sector of the economy filled with definitially highly intelligent people, many of whom actually EARNED the title of “Doctor”.

Usta have a most disgusting, filthy, repulsive mask to wear in case of a mask Nazi run in. At the Urgent Care a Karen saw that thing and lost it. She demanded I wear a spendy looking mask from her private stash. “Why? I’ve been wearing this for six months and haven’t caught Covid yet.” Her jaw dropped. As I headed for an exam room, Karen was spraying down the whole area with some kind of disinfectant. She was probably vaxed and boosted to the max, had Covid 3-4 times before stroking out at 40. Had to give up on trusty mask after using it to check the oil too many times.

Anyway, I saved the mask I made out of window screen. It worked like a charm, but I never want to go through another time where wearing something so ridiculous was completely normal. I lost a lot of faith in humanity in 2020.

I went to a doctor visit when they first required masks with one I made from my pantyhose. When my doctor walked in and saw it, he nearly fell down laughing. He said that I should make one from black pantyhose so it wouldn’t be so obvious … which I did. I used that the whole time.

To be fair, I used to work with a guy who had terrible allergies and his sinuses were usually congested as a result. After the mask mandate was lifted he continued wearing it at work bc it helped his allergies considerably. He could actually breathe easier with the mask on bc his sinuses were so much clearer.
