The UNLIKELY Voters

Yes, it’s true. Pollsters are not taking into account people who have never voted before, or who are returning to voting after having given up because they felt it was futile.

25% of Current Florida Primary Ballots Never Voted Before, EVER…

CTH-

[…] We’re in unprecedented, unchartered territory,” said Florida Chamber president and CEO Mark Wilson. “Nobody’s been polling these people, nobody’s been marketing to these people.”….

The “Monster Vote is the name attributed to the largest voting bloc in U.S. history.  The voters who have/had given up on the political process because it seemed futile to vote for a rigged system where nothing ever changes.  –Outlined Here

However, we first noted the surfacing of the Monster Vote in relation to the political outsider Donald Trump toward the end of 2015.  It was, and is, a rather controversial theorem because the voting bloc would make all media polling completely irrelevant.

Throughout the latter part of 2015 and into the first quarter of 2016 we put our research antenna on high alert to see if the indications were real.  We paid a statistician to model the data we collected. We made predictions which, if the bloc was accurate, would stun the professional political class.

By the way, another type of polling that is real and is very telling is that Breitbart News is going through the roof with their ranking. Same for Gateway Pundit.

Sites that wallow in #NeverTrump defeatism, anger, bitterness and stupidity are cratering.

I’m not going to mention names, but here are four site’s graphs.

  1. Red State
    Right Scoop
    NRO
    The Blaze

    Those would be my guesses

I used to be a big fan of both Levin and Director Blue but their TDS put me off. Now when one of them comes up on my radar I see they’ve gotten on board. Too late though for me. I’ll take an even handed, pre nomination, let everyone air it out site like this one(or American Spectator), but Doug was linking a dozen or more anti Trump stories a day.

And Levin was hysterical-not funny hysterical, nutty hysterical.

  2. One of those sites couldn’t possibly be RedState. I know, because WSB 750 recently made a point of promo-bragging that Erick Erickson was #1 in his time slot on the radio. But it sure seems like there are a lot more guest hosts for him lately. He must be busy out digging his hole somewhere.

  3. BFH, are those Alexa charts upside down? And it’s public info so it’s fine to name those sites.

Trump has exposed a lot of quislings and Tokyo Rose’s this last year. I’ve written off in disgust a lot of faux conservatives and assorted Weak Sisters that I used to follow.
Beck is dead to me now. Red State has gone from formerly weak and clueless to completely dropped. They’ll never see a click from me again.
I’m surprised at the persistent long term anti-Trumpery from Ace of Spades as well.
AoS seems a spent force. He’s flirting openly with Hilary-won’t-be-so-bad, and I’m finding less and less interest in stopping by to see if whether he ever comes to his senses in time.
Maybe like Beck, Ace is planning his transition to his generic Hot Air leftist ‘reboot’.

Many formerly popular sites will not survive their TDS self-destruction.
Good riddance to them. Go Trump 2016-24.

  4. I believe it. There are too many people who have simply made up their minds and are being silent about their decision. They won’t talk to the dishonest media, including pollsters, they won’t talk to anyone. They’re voting Trump.

  5. The wildest data was the comparison of Nick H.’s Feb ’16 predictions for the primary voter turnout for both the R’s and the D’s. On June 8, 2016, the R turnout was off by only 733,771 votes (predicted 29,528,228 versus actual 30,261,999). Even higher! (I think Nick H. was erring on the conservative side, no pun intended.)

And his prediction for the D’s: 28,450,721 versus actual of 28,269,195 showed the D’s off by only 181,526. Down!

The fact that even his predictive model didn’t pick up the substantial shifts over and under, may point to the tip of the respective turnout for the R’s and stay home for the D’s.

  6. I think one of the main reasons the #NT sites seem to be sinking so fast is because we all remember (and they forgot) that most of us were abused terribly in the ’08 race by the Left and the attacks weren’t limited to the candidate, but extended, very personally, to his supporters. No one I know wants to put themselves into that fray and make themselves the target of comments like “Your head is so far up your a$$…You’re a moron!…You’re nasty and evil!…” in place of a any real debate of the merits of the candidates’ positions. They shot themselves in the foot, early and often. They’re irrational loyalty to Ted Cruz was unfathomable and was expected, if not to end completely at the convention, to at least be a lot less vocal, hasn’t ended at all. The numbers are greatly diminished but the ringleaders continue to double down.

Irony being in no short supply, the most vocal among them keep referring to Reagan’s “11th Commandment.” !!

  7. over on Hot Air, that asshole Allahpundit openly delights in bashing Trump. His aching desire for a Clinton landlside against Trump is palpable. He is disgusting and despicable.

  8. They dug their own graves! I know I got sick and tired of AP’s and AoS’s nasty articles/blog posts calling out Trump supporters. And… well… Beck is probably back on the sauce or something. I don’t feel a lick sorry for the misfortunes of #NeverTrumpers. My vote next November is as much of a middle finger to all of them as to support for my candidate. Especially Bill Kristol and NR crew!

  9. I don’t doubt that many of the never-Trump sites are tanking, but I’m not sure Alexa is the most reliable method of proving that. They are owned by Amazon, and weren’t they caught recently cooking the ratings for anti-Obama sites?
