Your post-impressionism worked for my cat, my portrait I would call fauvism.
That’s Tucker, a friend of mine’s dog who died unexpectedly after a brief illness. I happened to have that pic on my phone and BFH agreed to paint this for us and a beautiful job he did.
We surprised the owner with it and she was quite moved and loves it.
So this is a reminder that pet friends can be brought back to life if you have a photo. It’s a lasting tribute that is always appreciated by the recipient. Or yourself.
So Fur, when are you going to design and sell a kickass IOTW T-shirt for us all to buy? Snarkier than the byline.
I know it’s beneath portraiture, but as a fundraiser it might just work.
