I watched another video that showed her husband leaving for work just before the attack. There was another kid upstairs asleep.

I would need a thesaurus to describe what I would like this animals punishment to be.
1) get a large-view peephole
2) get a deadbolt in addition to your doorknob
3) dont open the door! use the peephole to view who is knocking!
4) have a a large calibre handgun or a 12 ga pump shotgun with #8 birdshot handy – 5 rounds in the mag and one up the spout, ready to go.
5) call 911, leave the phone on speaker
6) if the thug proceeds to break in, SHOOT TO KILL
