    Any device or application that provides “anonymous immunity” for bad behavior, behavior which if the practitioner had to identify, he would self retrain, these should be shunned.

  9. I hope the employee sued since he had the proof via the tweet he treated the customer in a respectful and friendly manner. If this guy is now a better person perhaps he will reach out and make amends to the employee he got fired, who knows what they ended up suffering. Seriously giving TEENAGERS the power to get people fired when they get offended WTF.

  11. I had a brother, he’s been gone for many years now, that was mentally retarded and that was the term when I was growing up.

    I have never had a problem with saying retarded.

    Now if someone made fun of him that was a different story, but I still to this day will say retarded and it means nothing about any mentally retarded person or developmentally disabled or whatever the new term is now.

  15. I used to like a certain amount of sci-fi, including movies, TV, novels, short stories, etc. while never being a sci-fi nerd about it.

    Now I would not waste any time on it. It’s pretty cheesy fare. A Space Odyssey 2001 is really dumb-ass (and really dated) IMO, so is most of the rest of sci-fi. Arthur C. Clarke was a pederast with a poisoned brain. Nothing of worth came from his novels.

  17. The wife and her daughter were in Walmart in Las Vegas 2 years ago. They asked the (black) employee where they could find a certain Hallmark Christmas DVD. Employee pointed to a rack of DVDs and said “over there with that white people shit.” After my wife got through with the manager, I am pretty sure it was that “sales associate’s” last day on the job. Too bad I wasn’t there to participate.

  18. Idiot. Cretin. Moron. Imbecile. These all once were categories of mental retardation, depending on the severity of the mental impairment. All of these words are still commonly used to describe stupid people. Why is it okay to describe something or somebody as “idiotic”, but call something “retarded” and the SJW snowflake types will start reeing with their panties all bunched up.

I spoke with a lady on a sales call she was in another state, never met her, first and last time we talked but she told me that she was raising her retarded sister and for whatever reason told me about some of the challenges of doing so and also some of the joys. I respected her honesty and was glad for her sister to be loved and well taken care of. They both sounded like good people and I never thought it was a bad thing to say.

  25. My culturally incorrect hubby referred to a close relative (now in his 20’s, going on 6) as retarded. Another relative (female, gay) was horrified and declared “He’s not retarded! He’s just slow.”
