Here’s the problem for Hillary — when the server had emails deleted and then was “Bleached” it had already been taken offline and was never returned to service.  As such the laptop client would have been unable to connect back to it and thus it would never be told to remove anything.

Without that machine (Weiner’s laptop) being under remote administration such as Domain Policy control (which we can reasonably assume it was not as Huma claims “she didn’t know about it” and it was allegedly a private laptop) there is no remote capability to wipe or otherwise get into said computer and remove the emails either.  In fact there’s a decent chance it’s running an operating system edition (if Windows) that lacks domain control capability entirely.

This means that the odds are extremely high that all of the deleted emails to which Huma was a participant are on that computer.

Every.
Single.
One.

If that examination shows that work product, or worse, classified information was sent and/or received and the evidence intentionally destroyed via the “Bleachbit” process then everyone involved is cooked.  Remember, the claim was that the emails deleted were nothing more than yoga chat and similar; all “personal” content that the government had no right to and implicated no national security interest.  Further, Huma claimed twice (once during her exit from State, and again under oath when questioned) that she had turned over all devices that might or did have US Government work product on them and had retained no copies.

If that is proved to be a lie, or worse, proof of felony conduct such as influence peddling or (God forbid for them) something like the rumored link to Epstein’s Lolita Express is found in those archives then a whole bunch of people are going straight to prison not only on the original acts evidenced in the emails themselves but also on felony obstruction of justice and perjury charges.

Yes, folks, this is a very big deal because it is the first discovery of a computer that appears to have been sync’d against the Clinton server but was neither tampered with or destroyed, and thus it likely contains all of the pertinent evidence to which Huma was a part.

… I can confidently state that unless someone took affirmative action to alter the record the odds are extremely high that every single email chain Huma participated in is likely on that laptop, whether Hillary and her friends tried to delete it or not.

  3. I remember hearing “obstruction of Justice” and Nixon being used in the same sentence back in the day. And by back in the day I mean a college class on the POTUS and the liberal prof spent sometime hammering Nixon.

  4. I heard that these emails were saved on a file on the laptop. They weren’t in an email account like Hotmail or Gmail. They were purposely saved onto the laptop. So that means they were being saved as some kind of insurance policy or to be used to Blackmail people.

  10. A couple of possibilities on the files being there unintentionally.

    1. The theory that Huma backed up her phone contacts and accidentally backed up the emails on the phone as well. Personally I don’t buy that one but if she was backing up a “Secure Device” to an unsecured PC that is a major security violation.

    2. Huma logged into the email server using Outlook and a different user name than Weiner did. This is the one I think is most likely as it is obvious these folks are Luddite like in their ignorance. I would assume they were too stupid to have web access to the email set up and had no idea Outlook would create .pst files of the emails to store locally.

    I’m loving every second of watching them sweat. Huma is going to take a hard, hard fall for this one and I think Hilarity is going with her.

  20. One thing the article didn’t address is the use of multiple email addresses. There’s a reason for it, probably so no one location has “every. single. one.” But, I’d like to think there is a single smoking gun email out there which will bring down the entire house of cards.

  22. I’m fairly tech savvy and Mr Illustr8r is SUPER tech savvy and we have trouble keeping track of various email accounts and archives. We aren’t trying to hide state secrets-it’s just day to day work/life stuff. I love the term Luddites-because these jokers are not computer savants- the only thing they know how to do is get campaign cash from Silicon Valley.

Is it possible that Weiner got the emails off Huma’s devices without her knowledge as some sort of insurance, or perhaps to stay connected to the high stakes world of the Clintons that he was now excluded from due to his pervy behavior? Remember, this is the same idjit who accidentally exposed himself as a perverted sexter and tried to blame it on Andrew Breitbart. I believe the sheer number of emails that have supposedly been found on Weiner’s devices must have been stored there intentionally or accidentally by someone who was unaware that they were still there. In the event, these emails could cause the ignominious end of so many of Clinton’s camp followers that it will be recognized as the Weinerloo of Weiner’s perverted life and the crooked Clintons. What a fitting end for the people who attended the wedding of Huma and Carlos. This could go down in political history as the most momentous coupling since William Jefferson Clinton met Hillary Rodham.

  25. I still want to know about $1,700,000,000 cash sent to Iran,. The Attorney General refuses to comment for fear of incrimination. This is a distraction. Who wouldn’t throw the Ciintons under the bus? Follow the money. That is a lot of money.

  27. I’m still awed by the number of emails. 650,000?? Hillary turned over 30,00 and that was everything. 20 times more than “everything”? Is this more than just Huma’s stuff?

  35. katiek caught on by saying that the emails were deliberately stored in a folder, most likely for some sort of ‘insurance’ purposes …. actually, the file was named … no shit … “Life Insurance” …. quite telling, I’d say

  39. The FBI supposedly had this computer since Oct. 1. There is speculation that this is what forced Comey’s hand. If the agents were doing their job, the very first thing they did was do one or more mirror copies of the computer. That way the original could be locked away for safekeeping as evidence, and they could use the mirrored copies for research, etc. I think this is feasible. There is now more than one copy of this computer, outside the reach of Loretta Lynch. They had no choice but to go public. IF true, thank you honest FBI agents.

  47. Somebody was archiving the .pst file regularly.
    The FBI only needs to compare the files they already have from Clinton, etc. and if the laptop has more emails to or from the SOS, then it’s treason.
