This Weekend Is the Anniversary of Tiananmen Square – IOTW Report

This Weekend Is the Anniversary of Tiananmen Square

I just want to make sure our “most educated generation” understands who was in those tanks and what the man in front of the tanks was fighting for.

The man in front of the tanks was fighting for freedom, liberty and democracy.

The soldiers in those tanks represented the socialist/communist government. The tyranny was being rained upon the heads of its citizenry by the political ideology shared by Bernie, Hillary and Barack.

The tanks in this picture was the left. The man yearning for freedom was the right.

Now that we have that clear, go back to your social justice warrioring.

  1. I was in China just 6 months before that for work. There was so much optimism there then you could feel it. That sure set back everything I was trying to do.

  2. I was attending the University of Michigan and had an instructor of Chinese history. He was a native of the PRC and he said that the government was completely justified in using force to put down the demonstrators. Makes me proud to be part of that institution.

  3. Today the tank drivers are the kids protesting free speech on college campuses. The BLMers, Feminazis and all the special little snotflakes, that think they should get special treatment just for existing.

  4. The guy who took that famous Tank Man photo, Jeff Widener, attended two of the high schools I attended, in the same grade. Don’t know if I ever met him but we did have the same photography teacher at Cleveland, mr Ibach.
