Thousands Of Sex Offenders Eligible For Early Release, California Supreme Court Rules

NeonNettle:

The California Supreme Court has ruled that thousands of criminals sex offenders could be eligible for early release under a Democrat initiative written four years ago.

The initiative was written by then-Governor Jerry Brown, a Democrat, and passed by almost two-thirds of the electorate.

The aim was to reduce the state’s prison population, saying any person guilty of what was deemed a “nonviolent felony offense” would be eligible for early parole.

But it was never intended to cover sex offenders, according to Brown.

The original language, however, did not exempt sex offenders from consideration. more

  1. “But it was never intended to cover sex offenders, according to Brown.”

    Unintended Consequences?

You have to read it to find out what’s in it.

Or pass it then take it to court.

Either way, be careful to read whatever it is that you’re voting for, not just the title and summary on the ballot info or what someone tells you about it, but read the entire bill.

Because this is what happens when you don’t.

  2. …the part I don’t get is why there are NOT thousands of parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, husbands and wives waiting to GREET them and redeem the summary justice the Democrat court refuses to serve to its own…

…the courts are corrupted and evil, and the President was unable to reverse that.

Vigilantism is the last available recourse, since the government refuses to do its duty…

  3. In their minds, without Trump & Ice to deport them, the Demos feel it is safe to let them out to spread misery which they in turn believe will garner them more votes.

    Psychosis!
