TILLERSON IS TO DEMOCRAT STATE DEPARTMENT CAREERS LIKE FIRE IS TO WOOD

Sparta Report:

A tale of sadness and woe from the liberal democrat professionals in the State Department:

Mr. Miller got just five minutes with the secretary of state, the former officials said. Afterward, Mr. Miller, a career Foreign Service officer, was pushed out, joining a parade of dismissals and early retirements that has decimated the State Department’s senior ranks. Mr. Miller declined to comment.

The departures mark a new stage in the broken and increasingly contentious relationship between Mr. Tillerson and much of his department’s work force. By last spring, interviews at the time suggested, the guarded optimism that greeted his arrival had given way to concern among diplomats about his aloofness and lack of communication. By the summer, the secretary’s focus on efficiency and reorganization over policy provoked off-the-record anger.

Now the estrangement is in the open, as diplomats going out the door make their feelings known and members of Congress raise questions about the impact of their leaving.

Rex “The Butcher” Tillerson has been apparently acting like Jason from Friday the 13th and going from room to room massacring every soul in sight… just for his own pleasure. The Democrats are sending “strongly worded” letters to stop Rex “The Butcher” Tillerson at the State Department.

He isn’t even listening to John “The Songbird Traitor” McCain!

  1. Sounds like Rex is at least doing this one thing very well. But he needs to cut 50-60%, not 30%. Pruitt says he’s going to use a strategy where employees will have very specific assignments, and strict monitoring/discipline of their completion of those assignments. Previous use of this method quickly rids an organization of bureaucratic slugs accustomed to doing nothing but looking at kiddie porn at their desks.

  2. “By the summer, the secretary’s focus on efficiency and reorganization over policy provoked off-the-record anger.”

That must have been when the Seasoned Professionals at State hatched the brilliant plan to suggest that Tillerson had called Trump a moron and was on the verge of resigning. How’d that work out for you, geniuses?

  3. Hopefully T Rex has also started an internal investigation as the where abouts of the missing 5 Billion which disappeared while that fat, drunken, evil hag from hell, Hillary, was racing around the world as Secretary of Disgrace scooping up massive bribes and betraying our country.

  4. Here’s the $64 question….. Too many just had never thought about it before:

“what is your specific and quantifiable value to the core DoS mission; and how do we measure your effectiveness therein”?

    Duh!

Go T-Rex! Drain Foggy Bottom! ….Lady in Red

  5. It appears that Mr. Tillotson, a.k.a. “Ivan the Terrible” has been doing tremendous work to relieve the constipation at the State Department. the major problem was suffering from was “Too many people, too little production”. Careers at the State Department will not be something that is sought after, especially by lazy Democrats. instead of waiting until 2020 to get Hillary’s emails, I suspect that the old machine is working a lot faster now, maybe by June 2018?

  6. The more Tillerson does to clean up the Dept. of State, the greater positive impact internationally.
Career diplomats are just hold over appointments of political hacks from previous administrations.

    Full steam ahead Rex !

  7. If you haven’t made watching the State Department briefings a regular habit, they are a thing of beauty. Not only do we have amazingly competent cabinet heads, but their senior assistants and press secretaries are just as professional. Just can’t say enough good about T-Rex! He’s the whole package and if he thinks someone should hit the bricks, well, that’s the final word, isn’t it. I just never worry about his decisions — or Wilbur Ross’, Mnunchin, Liteheizer, and the rest. And I think all of these listed are doing all this amazing stuff for $1.00/year. Just wish the rest of our gov’t would take their actual jobs as seriously.

  8. The different management styles are an issue (for them)). No real big surprise. DJT, “You’re doing a great job, your awesome, YOUR FIRED. This has worked out in spades for him. DJT pulls, he doesn’t push. TRex a little old school. He pushes. But damn he’s effective. Like I say I love them both, and TRex is the guy that’s best for that job bar none.

  9. “Career public service” is used in the media as though it meant “politically neutral”. This is garbage. What it means is “entrenched bureaucrat”, and party affiliation hardly matters.

    Drain the Swamp!

  10. I’m getting the vapors!

How can all these career paper-pushers not do their job and then demand more secretaries and money for MORE people that won’t do their job?
