This one was recommended by PHenry, and it’s pretty smooth.

They are touring.
I just discovered them.
Nice! Thanks
Never heard of them till now. Excellent. Thanks.
It’s pretty bad when you get your musical recommendations from the Wall Street Journal. Article is behind paywall now, but was about rock resurgence in
The south.
I just found this band yesterday and have been Spotify listening. They’re a breath of fresh air in today’s musical mess. Cultural appropriation I guess. Sounds like Marvin Gaye and sometimes like early Van Morrison.
They’ve got an aggressive tour schedule. Google them if you don’t Spotify. Very listenable.
Another band from the the article was Lee Bains III and Glory Fire which ranges from traditional southern rock to full blown punk.
Here’s the article. Explore for yourselves.

@bad Brad Yep. Can’t beat the classics. But it’s nice to explore something new. A lot of it is crap but some of it is worthwhile. Can’t beat skynrd, Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray and many others. Modern music is in the shitter for the most part with the auto tune crap and so forth.

Hopefully you read her page. Especially the comments. Wasn’t a big fan of the music linked here. Just my taste ya understand.
Good lounge music.
I’m not a lounge person.
Bad Brad. I confess I didn’t read the comments until you horse whipped me. Haha. Yeah. Good. Can you imagine how sick The Rolling Stones are of playing Satisfaction after 50 years?
We really do need some new music. There hasn’t been anything new for me since Santana Supernatural (1999) or Mark Knopfler Sailing to America.

I contribute to two places. Jan’s place and here. You’re cheating yourself if you don’t visit her place. And you are exactly the type of guy that would fit in there. Especially on Mondays and Fridays. LOL.

Your’e missing he point. Big. As much as I enjoy those videos, I doubt if they’ll find there way to CNN. Wada ya think?
That’s some serious cultural appropriation. But it’s all good in this case.
Imitation is truly a form of flattery. Sam and Dave would be honored;

They also added a touch of rasta beat;

Good stuff – Love it!
Really great stuff, Sir Fur! Reminds me of very early John Belushi and Joe Cocker. Like them alot!!!
When all else fails, try creating real music again.
Real music played on real instruments by real musicians. Great tune and video had me smilin’ all the way through.
Grew up with MoTown and beach music, love this.
Thanks PHenry. you’re the 8th.
I’m with Billy I give it a 9.
