I used to cover a very large shopping mall with an equally large entertainment area complete with cut rate cinema and laser tag, and usually very well stocked with feral local utes on weekends in particular, 14-18 year olds evidently just dropped off by their parent(s) and left for the mall to care for.
It was not unusual in this situation for one of them, either out of ire or as a joke, to discharge a chemical irritant, generally in a very crowded area. This had the effect of producing an instant Mass Casualty Incident of not very serious casualties, mostly eye and skin irritation and bumps and bruises from slamming blindly into things and each other, so it wasn’t the Apocalypse but you would have THOUGHT it was to hear the way this population, known for its drama skillz, carried on.
Even though there wasn’t a lot of clinical significance to it…normal eyes will clear chemical irritants in their own without damage, that’s why they call them “irritants” because that’s all they do…still, it was bad optics even back in the day to have a bunch of guys standing around in municipal uniforms not doing anything while herds of dark-skinned 8th graders ran around screaming and crying, so since the Mall and the City were effectively left in loco parentis, it behooved us to call in mutual aid departments from all over the surrounding area and…because parents weren’t available and since children can’t sign refusal of treatment wavers and law at the time required us to act under implied consent, we had to treat and transport the kids that didn’t run away to the nearest hospital, which was happily very close indeed.
We found that you could put a kid in a cot and use a nasal cannula – that thing your Nana walks around with breathing oxygen in her nose that goes over her ears – onto the bridge of their noses with the tubes pointed at each eye and run sterile water or normal saline meant for wound flushing and IVs through it and clear the eye irritation pretty effectively, but if Moms still didn’t show up by then we had to drag them to the hospital anyway, both because of the law, because of the press, because there was no one to legally refuse transport, and because we would have gotten our yalnies sued off if we hadn’t.
The hospital didn’t really want them either, but they were in the same box we were, can’t refuse to treat or at least see hordes of cranky Black children being ferried in by the busload, so they basically became the day care center and reunification rally point until Moms could be found, or Social Services took them off their hands.
And I’m sure that once Moms WAS found, she probably called a liar before she called the hospital, because what a jackpot THAT could be! I leave the drama that a Black single mother (or, sometimes more likely, grandmother) of a Black pubescent child can generate in a lobby or a witness box to your imagination, but you can probably understand why the mall wanted to settle and everyone else was in lawsuit prevention mode based on that.
So, one can of pepper spray = stripping half the ambulances and concomitant police from a large part of a county, paralyzing a hospital, putting a huge financial strain on an already troubled mall, and basically ending the ability to operate a kid-attracting entertainment area causing several local businesses to fold, putting many older kids out of work.
Nice job parenting there, guys.
I honestly don’t understand why many Black people seem to WANT to live like that, it really isn’t helping ANYONE. This wasn’t even the norm until somewhere in the 70’s, but the climate now is such that all White people can do is leave areas this is likely to happen, so if Black people don’t end it themselves, it’s not going to end.
…but behind it all, there’s the Democrats, inciting, crippling law enforcement, promoting bad behavior, and lionizing minority thugs while punishing White people for the heinous crime of being White.
…seems like THAT’S the REAL problem THERE, that all this happens because Democrats WANT it to happen, so it won’t end until THEY do, as they SHOULD have after the Civil War, well, maybe we’ll get it right after the NEXT one, we’ll just have to see…

I’ve been in CS gas three times, with the door blocked and Pepper sprayed twice all for training purposes. No one squealed like a pig, a lot of swearing, mucus, tears and slobbering.
Neither are enjoyable, both are effective.
I much prefer CS gas to the blinding, painful pepper spray, but I have never put myself in a situation where either were deployed against me.
I did buy pepper spray for my daughters for self protection. Years later, they both got their CC permit, but still have pepper spray in their purse.

Civil society is regressing in the inner city. It is sad to watch other races imitating this low brow behavior. Drugs, illigitamate birth, teen single mothers, reliance on government daddy money are all contributing to it. The squirrels are running the nut house.

I don’t go any where with out pepper spray. It’s a good deterrent when you need to take care of business. I haven’t had to use it yet…
The obvious “Moral” to this story is DONT go to anyplace like that. You poke you nose in and its too dark in there? Leave. Crappy expensive food anyway.
Just to let you know, If you defended yourself in Canickistan with Pepper Spray, You will get charged. Illegal up here.
When someone attacks you, you should be polite, apologize for scratching the attackers knuckles with your face, and offer them a coffee or nice cold drink, Eh.
