City Hall is selling the tickets as part of a public safety fundraiser. Remember that healthy high school senior in Charlotte NC? He had a teen hissy fit where he worked as a stock boy in a grocery store, did not lash out at anyone, knocked over a paper display. The cop tasered him for 38 continuous seconds. It killed the kid. The cop got a paid vacation and then came back to work like nothing happened.
Contrary to popular belief the taser tases as long as the trigger is held down. It would be a lot safer if the cops just used a lit cigarette to gain compliance when the perp is not physically resisting.
