Currently, there are 27 Democrats not running for re-election while only 9 Republicans are declining to run. Some of those candidates are running for another office such as governor and senator. But why those 34 retirements are significant is because the cycle hasn’t hit its historic peak of announced retirements yet.

After the Christmas holidays is when the flood of retirements will give us an idea of what the electoral landscape will look like for 2024. More

    I hate to be a Danny Downer, but 2022’s red tsunami turned trickle really did a number on my attitude. In fact, it’s the reason I went underground for nearly a year. I don’t want a repeat of that.

  2. i suppose it will be business as usual for congress. with no address of election integrity. thinking all legislation from 2020 to date is bunk. recognizing the current authority is insane with all the election funny business coming to light. where are those 150k missing fake ballots in georgia.

  3. Don’t underestimate the ability of the Republican establishment to fuck things up. I believe it is by design, that is the part they have been given to play in this ongoing farce that the government has become.
