2. ^^ I’ve always detested that phrase: “Speaking truth to power.” It has an intrinsic characteristic of “power” being superior to truth, and it’s fundamentally anti-American because it explicitly sets up “power” as aristocratic. “Power”, in most circles today, is akin to shabby gentility.
