Update: Trump Cheered at Christmas Eve Mass – IOTW Report

Update: Trump Cheered at Christmas Eve Mass

Update: What a terrible omission of a word!!! The not is BOLDED for clarity.

I will go out on a limb and say this is NOT worshipping a false idol. It’s appreciation for a man that defeated the successor of the false idol – black Jesus.

Gateway Pundit-

President-elect Donald Trump was applauded and cheered by parishioners as he and his wife arrived for a Christmas Eve service around 10:30 p.m. EST at Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida according to reports. The church was the site of Trump’s 2005 wedding to soon to be First Lady Melania Trump.

  1. Good Triumphs.
The Hope of the Nation rests on his shoulders.
May he never lose sight of who placed him in this lofty position. Thank you Lord for hearing the prayers of your faithful sons and daughters.

  2. I would cheer too. Not out of worshipping an idol, but for thanking God for this man. We’ve been pent up for so long holding everything back, that our good fortune has to let loose somehow. This seems as good a place as any.

  3. I would disagree this is worshipping a false idol. It’s just showing appreciation for a man who appreciates this country and the people in it and wants to do right by them.

  4. Lord, Thank you.
Thank you for hearing our prayers and freeing us from the bondage of the Politically Correct Groupthink.
Thank you for our New President.
Lord, help us deserve and be worthy of your grace and help us turn this country around.

  5. This is not worshipping a false idol. This is genuine enthusiasm breaking out after being pent up after enduring an eight year long disaster. It is really no different than the applause given for a great performance such as “I believe in Father Christmas” performed by Greg Lake with Ian Anderson in St. Bride’s Church.

  6. Merry Christmas to Mr Trump — and all the commenters here! BFH you have a terrific website and were part of the good fight leading up to the election. All done with good spirit and a helluva sense of humor. Well done! Best wishes in 2017 to all!

  7. Was the cheering and clapping on the outside of the church? If not, that’s just wrong.

I don’t even know when people started applauding at the conclusion of a wedding ceremony, which struck me as weird. I’m tempted to start barking like a seal, in a well-done for a great performance kind of way.

Or I’m just a cranky traditionalist.

  8. If you are going to clap and cheer in a “church building” it better be to and for the Lord alone, not for a mere man/woman for that then is respect of persons. You want to be great in the sight of God then humble yourself before men….. have a nice day 🙂

  9. What a difference. The commies and dems only go to church a week after giving the media a chance to catch it all on film. Not surprised the media was holed up in a van. They have no idea why anyone would enter a church or what you’re supposed to do once inside.

  10. Wonderful, just wonderful. I can feel the change. If only the media will learn to give us the facts, “just the facts, Ma,am” and stop with their negative nonsense, and outright lies.
Since he announced last June he has been insulted, ridiculed, disparaged, by the elite among us; his supporters called “unenlightened and backward-looking” hayseeds; toothless gun-toting ignoramuses; inhabitants of fly-over country, deplorable people, and on and on. Well, we won!
I haven’t been reading the elites of late; Goldberg, Kristal, Wills, etc. because, quiet frankly, I don’t give a shit what they have to say. They did a lot of damage. I thank IOTWreport, Joe Dan Gorman of Intellectual Froglegs, Con.treehouse, Truth Revolt, Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity for keeping us on the right track.
    Long live President Donald Trump.

True story (so you know it’s true): A black man said nothing but “Merry Christmas” as he passed a white man, just after midnight, on a street deep in the Clinton Archipelago.

(It seems we may be fated to “live in interesting times”.)
