7. It’s funny to watch them together on a stage. Trump is always so generous to him, making him go first and all, but then you can see Trump getting fidgety and it’s almost like, “Okay, Mike, I can take it from here,” then Mike inhales and has a bit more to say because it’s like he knows Trump is getting antsy. Then if Trump comments on something, Pence jumps in at the end of his sentence and tacks on his two cents — it’s two alpha males with very different delivery styles, almost like to brothers with very little age difference. Pence will be a fabulous veep, I think. He’s definitely not going to be a water boy for Trump.

8. …and I meant to add: Pence knows he was ‘hired’ because Trump needs someone who is as much a Pit Bull dog as Trump. Anyone with a lesser constitution wouldn’t have been a good fit for the exec.

11. I met Pence once. I also met Mitch Daniels, and before that Evan Bayh, the prior two governors.

    Daniels is very short – has to have a box to stand on behind the podium when he speaks – but he’s no-nonsense and left Indiana with a big surplus even with the recession/depression caused by W’s and O’s policies. Pence’s record is a little shakier with his partial cave to the RFRA opponents but Indy still has a budget surplus and there are other pluses.

    Bayh nearly cost my and several hundred other IT people’s jobs by trying to outsource ALL computer work to private companies, which sounds fine until you realize that includes ALL your personal records like deeds, driving, arrest, marriage, etc. that they could then sell. Or maybe you wanted an arrest record ‘fixed’ for a couple hundred bucks. The only reason it didn’t work was he tried to do it sneakily (with commensurate kickbacks) and got ratted out to the media by the people he was trying to shitcan. I have no respect for him – he’s a typical prog.

    I don’t know any of them personally, just shook their hands at awards ceremonies. I wouldn’t have a problem inviting Daniels or Pence into my home for dinner. Bayh, not so much. I always told my wife to pray Obama or one of the other assholes like him never came near me because I’d turn my back in disgust and we’d end up being investigated to the end of our days. LOL
