America is so back.
On Wednesday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order establishing a task force to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American independence, which will take place on July 4, 2026.
While the left has tried to pummel any love for American history, Trump’s move ensures anti-American activists won’t have the last word. The anniversary is a perfect, symbolic occasion to announce that the “1619 Project” era of warping American history and turning it into a long tale of oppression is wholly over. read more
Takes me back to the summer of ’76. Bicentennial license plates, bicentennial quarters. Good times.
Jason – Agreed. Good times… except for Carter.
Kick things off on November 5th 2025. The 1st Birthday of the greatest comeback in world history.
It will be interesting to see if blue cities/states even participate!
“Takes me back to the summer of ’76.”
This would be a good subject for a separate thread. This site has a bunch of old farts (me included) ,”Do you remember July 4th 1976?”
I was a 20 year old kid in the military stationed in Panama, doing my darnest to not get bitten by a snake, all of which are poisonous in that area. I remember watching the fireworks celebrations, both on the Potomac and the NY harbor, broadcast live on AFN, I missed home so badly.
OT, I’ve been watching the Kash Patel hearings today, that dude is scary, and fits right in with the ,”I can kick your ass” posse being paraded before Congress this last couple of weeks.
My dad had an old tractor that he painted red, white, and blue for the bicentennial. It was awesome! Miss you dad.❤️

The other day, I heard some pundit—I’m not sure who—who predicted that Tulsi would not make it through committee (some inconsistencies with prior positions and an affiliation with some cult Hindu religion) but would still get a full Senate vote and should be confirmed.
We need her, now.
Make the reality of our nation on July 4 worth celebrating again. You’ve got 5 months…
I hope they can have his face on Mt. Rushmore by then.
