Trump, GOP Leaders Call Out Nancy and Chuck for Skipping Meeting

NTK: With a brilliant photo opportunity, the president left open two seats for the Democrats who refused to show up to negotiations.

President Trump, along with House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), slammed their Democratic counterparts for skipping negotiations on tax reform on Tuesday.

The president left open two seats to his left and his right, and in front of each lay a name card – one for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and another for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

Trump said that GOP tax reform efforts would be good “for the country.”

Ryan echoed the president’s sentiments, calling out his Democratic colleagues. “I think it’s regrettable that our Democratic colleagues and the leadership chose not to join us today,” he said. Ryan added that congressional leaders should “always” be open to negotiations.

McConnell also took issue with the no-show Democrats, claiming he never turned down a chance to go to the White House to meet with President Obama.  read more

  1. It really doesn’t matter, Ryan and McCONnell will represent the Democrats and the establishment well.
President Trump should spend that time alone with the two quasi leaders and get them off their ass and on the Trump Train.

  2. the msm talking heads can tell us how Trumps tweets and public responses to criticism of him are beneath the office, racist and homophobic all they want to but the rest of us love them.

he’s taking the words out of our mouths and making it mainstream.

the best part is the msm coverage amplifies his words for all to see or hear not just his base.

mmm, maybe the msm is on our side after all.
