Trump Has EPA Employees ‘Coming To Work In Tears’

DC:

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) employees are reportedly arriving at work in tears because of President Donald Trump.

An anonymous EPA communications career employee told Pro-Publica that “more than a few friends were ‘coming to work in tears’ each morning as they grappled with balancing the practical need to keep their jobs with their concerns for the issues they work on.”

The Trump administration allegedly instructed the EPA to freeze all grants for projects, research on global warming, air quality monitoring and education, and instructed employees not to discuss the spending freeze outside the agency, according to reports earlier this week.

Trump also allegedly ordered the EPA to take down its global warming webpage, however, it is currently still up as of Thursday. The page contains some links to EPA’s data on carbon dioxide (CO2) as well as other greenhouse gas emissions and lists the effects the agency says global warming will have. The site doesn’t host much of the data, however, and only aggregates links to it.

  1. Their splashing eyes are watching their “retiring at 55 and getting paid full pay after retirement for life and full healthcare and vaycay/OT bennies” go bye-bye down the drain. But they’ll make it seem like they’re really sad because they’re being denied helping the widdle peeples.

Fuck them and the horse they rode in on. ESAD. Go pound sand.

  2. Why should it be limited to the EPA? The “National Renewable Energy Department” (NREL) is just as bad, although you never hear of them. They are a huge drain on our national budget.

  3. Welcome to reality, where people for the last eight years have feared for their jobs and you fat cats kept getting fatter. Maybe now you will have the ability to put yourself in others shoes.
    See? Learning lesson, all good.

  4. Did these creeps ever shed tear one for all the good citizens whose life and livelihood they ruined while they lavished themselves with money seized from those same citizens?

Can we use these dweebs to fill a sinkhole somewhere?

  5. Government is stacked with patronage, nepotism and those with polarizing ideologies.
The EPA and “every” Federal Agency have been loaded with employees to pacify Senators, Representatives, power players, special interests, lobbyists and big dollar donors.
Time to cull the herd of waste and corruption.
EPA is a good start, don’t stop !

  6. “balancing the practical need to keep their jobs with their concerns for the issues they work on”
Something’s gotta give snowflakes. Save the tears for your job interviews to come, maybe they’ll mean something to your next employer.

  7. “retiring at 55 and getting paid full pay after retirement for life and full healthcare and vaycay/OT bennies”

Simply not true. Since the inception of FERS (1987) the retirement age was raised to 62 and increases to 67 (or something) and retirees have to pay for their health insurance and there’s no “vaycay” or OT.

None of this is to imply that EPA maggots are in any way deserving of any sympathy, whatsoever. That they have ruined lives, livelihoods, and caused the deaths of their countrymen, is beyond doubt. They deserve only scorn and ridicule, prosecution, perhaps, for overstepping their “mandate” – but the real criminals are in the House and Senate, who allowed them to run roughshod over America, in order to deflect responsibility from themselves.

Kill the beast, and be done with it.

    izlamo delenda est …

  8. Zero pity for the EPA. These are unelected bureaucrats who have ability to come in and seize your property and throw you off your own land. They make up infractions and restrictions that they have no constitutional right to do. They have the backing of the federal government to take you to court essentially bankrupting individuals economically destroying any who do not bow down to the government mandated religious dogma of Gaia worship.
    Fuck the EPA.

  9. The EPA should be disbanded. Each state has their own environmental oversight agency. They should have a much simpler motto->

Don’t pollute stuff. Also try not to waste too much.

No need for this wetlands regulations crap that was so draconian it could in theory regulate a wet spot on a farmer’s driveway.

I estimate maybe 20 people could handle the enviro protection work for a smaller state. Might need some office space somewhere, maybe some cars and some phones. Probably some computers for email. Ought to be able to save billions.

Think Ron Swanson. If Ron Swanson was in charge of a state’s environmental agency what would that look like? The state would be cleaner than ever and they’d operate on a shoestring.

  10. The guy that drafted the clean water act back in the 70s never expected EPA to try and destroy property rights like they have been doing. It wasn’t designed for that. Na na na hey hey hey epa goodbye.

  11. You’re coming into work in despair, in tears, with the feeling that everything is wrong and you can’t do anything about it?
Welcome to the general population of American citizens you rat bastard, thieving, progressive sonsofbitches! Now you know how we have felt for the last 8 goddamned miserable years! Choke on it! SUFFER!

  12. Oh nooooo, the pooorw babies, what ever shall we do to make them feels safer? They could quit and go on welfare, that way they would never have to make another decision in theiir life.

  13. DICK Nixon created the Environmental Protection Racket via executive order, trying to appease the Left.

President Trump needs to ABOLISH the Environmental Protection Racket by executive order and Congress needs to pass a law permanently putting environmental protection as the responsibility of each state’s government.

  14. the place is in serious rehab after 8 years of obozo and gina mccarthy and lisa “richard windsor” jackson, and the associated idiocy and anti-science that goes along with admin. numbskulls like these morons. The agency oriented itself around an ideology that CO2 is a pollutant and that fossil fuels are evil. They did this while greatly downplaying their role in protecting water quality, IMHO. They ignored the Animus R toxic spill — that was pathetic and really showed how useless the agency is. It needs a thorough housecleaning.
