President Donald Trump seemed to hint at the possibility of taking his D.C. crime crackdown to Chicago.
“After we do this will go to another location, and we’ll make it safe, also. We’re going to make our country very safe,” he said when speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Friday. “We’re going to make our cities very, very safe. Chicago’s a mess.”
Trump called Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson “grossly incompetent” and said his administration would handle the windy city next. He also said the people of Chicago were “screaming” for federal assistance in cutting down the crime rate. more here
If there’s one thing we all know by now about our president 47, it is that once he gets the bit between his teeth, it is all but impossible to disuade him from his unconventional goals. I’m convinced that a good part of what the Dummycrats hate about him is that he proves them inept, derelict, un-serious, mean-spirited, and anti-American at every turn. It’s a wonderful thing to watch as he exposes their pearl-clutching rhetoric for what it truly is — empty, unhelpful, and just idiotic. And worse; power-hungry at the expense of human safety and life. The Dems have planted their flag and declared the main tenet of their ideology is that Americans will be sacrificed for “the cause”.
I’m grateful — at this time — that Seattle and WA state is loud and proud of their so-called “sanctuary” status. I’m happy to report that people are coming out of the woodwork to praise the work of law enforcement here in the Emerald City.
I hope President Trump takes a moment to consider that although Washington DC is a federal enclave, Chicago isn’t. He’ll need to accomplish the job using a different mix of tools, all of them Constitutional.
Do it. Do it now.
Line up all the residents of Chicago and have them count off by one and two. Now Jail all the two’s….There I fixed it!
