Big, HUGE, ratings? Donald Trump heads back to NBC and will host Saturday Night Live on Nov. 7 – the first time he’s hosted the late-night show in 11 years
- Donald Trump will be hosting Saturday Night Live on Nov. 7, NBC announced today
- The network previously threatened to dump Trump, after he made ‘derogatory’ comments about immigrants
- Since then, he’s been on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show and been interviewed on NBC’s Meet the Press
- Comedians Darrell Hammond, Taran Killam and Fallon have all tackled Trump impressions in recent years
- He last hosted SNL in 2004 and boasted then about his big ratings and told an Amy Poehler character she had a ‘tight little body’
Any other candidate and this would be a negative. But Trump, like it or not, is an entertainment personality. This is who he is.
YUGE
BIG LEAGUE
“What? NBC never said they were thinking about banning Trump. Who said we did? Did we say that? We didn’t say that… Maybe YOU said that…
Why would we say that? *nervous laughter* That’s ridiculous”
– Nathan Thurm
it still won’t help SNL’s ratings. Trump fans will just DVR it and watch it the next day, or watch the clips on youtube. Not many adults stay up late to watch an archaic comedy show that is 2/3s commercials and politically out of touch on the off chance that they might say something funny.

OK, so I screwed that up.
“It’s a Trap!”
A TV Trump trap…?
No, not a trap. They have to give equal time to the opposite party. Hillary did her gig now it’s Trumps turn. At least Trump is funny and won’t make a fool of himself. GO TRUMP!
I watched SNL about 30 years ago…..
