Trump May Not Have Been a Politician When He First Ran, But He Knows How To Play Politics

I’ve read comments on this site indicating that people are upset with Trump because he tore up his planned “rip-roaring” speech for the RNC. He is planning on delivering a speech that will ask for unity.

Trump’s instincts are amazing. Trump’s speech is absolutely a stroke of genius— politically.

For those who instinctually want to punch throats and who are fed up with the left, yes, this tone will be disappointing. But do you want Trump to win in November? Do you want an absolute avalanche?

Trump will have a healing scar on his ear, where a bullet missed him by inches. And he will ask for peace and unity when everyone else would be shouting like a monkey on a hot plate about revenge and retribution. But that is what “Hitler” would do.

Trump is going to be Gandhi. And it will completely hamstring the left.

Trump’s documents trial was just dismissed, with a second bite of the apple still possible.

Trump will stand before America with a bullet wound on his head, asking for peace and unity. If the left continues with lawfare, they will look like absolute goons and loons. Trump knows this.

His speech is like one of his “perfect phone calls.”

Trust Trump; the guy knows what he is doing.

  1. Trump needs to appear Presidential as possible. A leader for every American. Hating Libtards is our job.
Some one does need to play a video of all the threats and rage that this administration and their media have tried to create AT that convention. But Trump needs to stay far away from it. I hope he shows up with an unbandaged ear, Coagulated blood, and maybe a piece of ear just hanging.

  2. I trust him. I know he also learns from past mistakes.

Now he knows not to make the same mistakes he did during his first term by choosing members of the Uni-Party to fill important positions.I hope he chooses a good running mate.

Hopefully with the help of Supreme Court decisions we, under the guidance of Trump, can dismantle the deep state.

  3. People must understand that certain things have to be said in order to get what you really want. Judge his actions, not his words. Is it “lying.” Not really. Is it deception? Perhaps. Is it politics? Absolutely.
And I agree with Brad. We can be the goons while Trump stays above it.

  4. ‘Hating Libtards is our job.’
    Amen, brother.
I agree with all of your post 100%

And if the GOPes don’t FULLY and COMPLETELY back Trump, they should also feel that heated rage.

  5. I’m glad to hear that Trump is sticking up for Secret Service protection for RFK Jr. as well. The last thing that we need is for any politician of either party to be killed by some wacko. The 60’s were bad enough, we don’t need a repeat of those turbulent times.

  6. They are on their heels now. Standard rules of engagement dictate you go after them hard. I’m not sure how you do that. Unless you focus on one vocal asshole at a time and destroy him/her on line. Let’s start with Jack Black.
This probably won’t be the last attempt on Trump’s life.

  7. I read that Trump is planning on attending the funeral for the poor guy that Crooks did kill. I don’t consider this playing politics, I consider this the right and proper course of action. Trump is a good man!

  8. It doesn’t matter what Trump actually does or says. The filthy democrats have a million lies in the wings that their propagandist media will happily parrot and tens of millions of worthless, mentally ill fucktards in the democrat base eager to lap up all of that bullshit to justify their pathetic, empty hate obsession with Trump.

It will never end. Trump should just say the Truth: the democrats are a demonic force in our society, and unless they are fully purged from power, they will destroy the US completely because that is EXACTLY what they want to do. They would rather rule in Hell than serve in Heaven, where tough standards on personal behavior & worthiness apply.

  9. Keep in mind who Trump’s true audience is during this campaign season: it isn’t most of the folks on this site, and it isn’t left leaning Democrats. Trump’s audience is the roughly 5% of independent voters who are either dissatisfied with their current party or who are truly looking for a candidate to back.

In addition to trying to sway this roughly 5% of voters, Trump (and other politicians) are giving messages designed to convince people to actually vote. For example, I know Democrats who recognize Biden has cognitive impairment and needs to retire, but don’t like Kamala Harris either. Instead of voting for Trump, these people may just elect to not vote at all.

A fire and brimstone message from Trump – particularly when he knows the media generally hates him – may please die-hard Trump supporters, but really won’t excite people on the fence. This is Trump’s target audience.

I’m actually just expanding a little on Brad’s observations.

  10. If you watch the video carefully you will see he turned his head to the right to look at the jumbo screen a split second before the bullet passed. If he hadn’t done that he wouldn’t be alive right now. God’s hand turned his head.

  11. Question, if you get shot in the ear, is that the same as “taking a bullet?” As in, “he took a bullet for us?”

I have a very liberal friend posting that he wasn’t really shot because the only one who took a bullet was the poor fireman who protected his family…and MAGA was cheering while this was happening. Who does that?!?

And posts of past GOP campaign ads featuring guns and…Sarah Palin’s target ad and Gabby Gifford.

All predictable. Glad they are processing what happened to Trump as expected. *sigh*

  12. Yes Illustr8r, plus Trump taking a bullet may even add “street cred” in the hip-hop community.

His VP pick is likely minutes away.

Meanwhile FBI can’t seem to find the motive behind the attempted assassination?
    That’s such a tough one…
Ummm, perhaps he watched MSNBC for thirty mother-fucking minutes in the past eight fucking years????!!!!
    Assholes!

  13. I agree. Someone does indeed need to play a video of all the non-stop attempts at inciting division and whipping up rage and hatred by this administration and their Complicit, Bought & Paid For flying monkeys in the Knee-Pad Media. democRATz and the Media need to OWN this and be forced to take accountability with the Truth and Ridicule. The First Amendment protects your right to free speech. It does not protect you from ridicule of the stupidity of your remarks!
Aaaaaannd democRAT performance does not equate to future results, but it is a DAMN good indicator!

  14. Hogwash by the writer, and wishful thinking by those whispering in Trump’s still bleeding ear… and I’m looking at you, Ivanka. The democrats will be laughing their asses off; they don’t care what Trump says. They’ll nod their heads and agree in public, but the shit-show in private will simply continue. Trump may get elected, but he’ll still have the democrats and their partners in the media and alphabet agencies to keep him from pushing through his agenda. He said fight fight fight with the sound of gunfire still ringing in his head, and those words should be at the forefront of his campaign going forward; not appeasement.

  15. Brad — Ok, I laughed for a couple minutes over your “hanging ear part” remark. I’m still laughing, in fact. I completely get what he’d be conveying; something like a combination of “Here, try to ignore this!” and what indigenous warriors would do by smearing their own, or their enemies blood all over their faces. Nothing says “I’m a maniac warrior who will chew your face off” better than an opponent covered in blood with parts hanging off them by a flap of skin.

  16. Trump is (understandably) going Biblical on our enemies by calling for unity.

“For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.” Proverbs 25:22
