You have to be kidding me. The CIA was fooled by Uri Geller? They were impressed with his “psychic abilities”?

The man was a fraud. Amazing Randi has dogged the man his entire life, debunking and recreating every stupid trick the guy tried to foist on a mouth-breathing public.

Johnny Carson, a magician himself, famously had Geller on his show and set up stringent guidelines and monitored his every move. Geller didn’t successfully perform any psychic phenomenon that night. He squirms and whines and stammers and stutters.

Carson outed him and the CIA was fooled.

Be afraid.

The CIA tested Uri Geller’s psychic abilities during a series of top secret tests in the 1970s where he was able to demonstrate his skill in an ‘unambiguous manner’ according to newly released documents. Geller was sealed in a locked room and asked to describe drawings which had been sketched from random words taken from a dictionary. During the week-long exercise, which was part of the Stargate Program, Geller convinced the CIA of his ability.
