Just The News:President Trump has told congressional Republican leaders that he will not support a clean reauthorization of surveillance laws without significant reforms to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court system that was abused during the Russia collusion probe, a senior White House official says.
The surveillance provisions are set to expire on March 15, and the White House indicated to Republican leaders Tuesday that it would support only a temporary, 30-day extension to allow Congress to iron out the reforms.

He should refuse to sign until someone is held accountable. (Meaning go to jail)

Bi partisan compromise is defined as do it our way, or else.
Next, the Patriot Act
“House Democratic leaders have indicated publicly they are open to bipartisan compromise.”
…Bipartisan compromise, to a Democrat:
“You agree that there is no such thing as illegal surveillance of non-Democrats, and in turn, we’ll agree that there is no such thing as LEGAL surveillance of Democrats.
Do we have a deal?”
Murkowski and Collins:
“Yes”
Romney:
“I’m going to need you to put an amendment on that saying that any Presidents named Trump are stripped of all their civil rights and immediately impeached.”
Democrats:
“DONE!”
Media, later that week:
“TRUMP REFUSES TO SIGN COMPROMISE SURVEILLANCE BILL THAT HAS WIDE BIPARTISAN SUPPORT, SUSPECTED TO BE OBSTRUCTION TO HIDE HIS GUILT, REIGNITES IMPEACHMENT INVESTIGATIONS.”
FISA reform starts with INDICTMENTS!
There were multiple levels of approval necessary in both the fbi and doj, plus a judge had to sign off on it, as it currently stands.
There can be no fix. When the top levels of all groups and the judge conspire to do the illegal, there is no reform that can stop it.
If they renew this fisa law, then it is all a charade to put one over on us. They are just pretending that any changes they make will get the job done, when we already know that if they all conspire to break the law, then the law isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.
It is not a conspiracy theory to say that they were all in on it. Because the facts are that they were all in on it.
The greatest act of reformation would be jail time for the conspirators.
How about really serious penalties, like mandatory prison time, for anyone that deliberately abuses it or gives orders to abuse it?
And very specific definitions of exactly what constitutes an abuse, exact enough that there is no wiggle room for someone’s interpretation of them to get away with ignoring them.
Unless that reform happens, there will be no safeguard against abuse of the FISA for political purposes. When getting caught violating the law means nothing, the law means nothing.
But you’ll never see that kind of accountability established, too many powerful people have an interest in avoiding it.

FISA is a juridical abomination.
Never should have been done. Reeks of The Star Chamber.
Kill it. Kill it with Fire.
Prosecute the “judges” who allowed the FBI to abuse it – after prosecuting the FBI agents who abused it.
Nothing less than “Life Plus 20.”
It’s the only way to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
