Whatever God’s plan is, I am good with it.
My guess is that some other inhabitable planets have animals, forests, mountains grasslands, rivers, etc., everything needed for intelligent life, but they are waiting there for us. My idea is based on the fact that many areas of our earth had no humans at one point, but all the things needed for human civilization, and humans found those lands and made those lands their homes. I think of it as a template that our creator designed and made for us that could be replicated in other words.
I have no evidence of that of course, only a thought and a supposition.
