Sorry, this all makes no sense.
Professional liability insurance protects against liability for malpractice in connection with work for clients and clients’ intended third party beneficiaries. It doesn’t protect against intentional torts, let alone crimes, or acts/omissions that predate the insurance policy.
So there are a few/bunch of agents yammering or gossipping about uh-oh we or they made a mess and stuff could come out.
Not one article I’ve read actually spits out what the author thinks any of this means, in context.
