1. It’s even worse than that.
   2%, or in that range, actually work for the gov’t. And they are *supposed to* operate as a republic, following the rules and laws enacted by legislature… but they are self-interested (as we all are – even as we are charitable we are still thinking of our interests). And they make decisions that don’t necessarily follow the rules. And nobody notices. And then they do more of it, and more, and a couple of centuries later we are looking at Trillion$$$ in fraud, but nobody has really done much about it, and nobody at all is getting fired. So that 2% is effectively making decisions that impact all of us.
   The good news is that Open The Books, DOGE, and the current administration are at least starting to do something about it. Social Security fraud has been cut, some. And Agriculture Secretary is going to try to make everyone reapply for SNAP benefits, supposedly. But those gov’t workers are entrenched. They don’t want to lose their cushy jobs, the ones where nobody bothered them for doing nothing and they got paid every Friday. It’s hard for a republic to overcome the internal operations of a massive bureaucracy.

   Our Constitutional republic was not designed to be run by subversives or the unpatriotic.

   I firmly believe that the founders would have preferred destruction to what is now left of their beautiful creation in its current form.

   a constitutional republic is not meant for liberal populations. citizens of a constitutional republic are self governed and live by a christian based moral code. anything that erodes these constitutional freedoms is unconstitutional whether it has been ruled by judge or magistrate, the freedoms and rights are god given. in other words no judge is above god. it is our freedom to speak these truths as intended by god.

7. The amoral, corrupt ideology of a democracy gives the left an excuse to violently intimidate, oppress and assassinate those who don’t agree with their progressive, evil mandates.
   In order to actualize this twisted concept it requires an oligarchy of God-hating wealthy financiers, mobs of soul-less morons/freaks and the support of Demwit Borg-minded libtards to carry out atrocities against moral and God fearing people in a civil society.

10. It isn’t even that the majority tells you what to do. It’s the tiny elite at the top masquerading as “the duly elected” who tell you what to do. We have neither a republic nor a democracy. IMHO

11. It was during the Obama administration that you first started hearing the term ‘our Democracy’. Democrats repeat the term every chance they get. It’s all part of the indoctrination of the young and stupid who vote. They want people to believe that if you can get over 50% of the voters to ban gun ownership, that the 2nd Amendment is finished. Imagine if 51% of voters abolished private ownership of all property. That’s what Mamdani is pushing for. If they expect to take what I’ve worked for all my life, they’d better expect a bloodbath, too.
