DailyCaller: A new congressional report alleges that Clapper lied when he told them he didn’t leak information to the media while he was in government. Turley explained on Fox News that Clapper has been caught lying to Congress before but was not indicted, adding that the statute of limitations expired not long before he took his job at CNN.
“There’s a serious issue here,” Turley said. “Clapper’s already admitted that he did speak with CNN, now he is insisting he didn’t speak to any media until January 20, but he indicated he did speak to CNN in early January.”
Turley also argued that Clapper could have been one of the “high level officials” responsible for getting CNN their “news hook” regarding the dossier, stating, “if one of those individuals is Clapper…then he could be accused again of perjury.” watch
But if it was the least dishonest thing he could come up with, at the time, then Cangress has already approved.

I doubt Clap-trap will face any punishment. All people in fed gov jobs ( elected or hired) see themselves as the cool kids, all members of the “we’re all extra special people” club, the ruling elite.
Most are sharks, know it, admit it only to each other, and know during a feeding frenzy some may accidentally get bitten by another. They will look a little embarrassed about it, but all the others will extend the common courtesy extended only to club member of forgiveness , because “hey, we’re sharks, it coulda happened to anybody.”.
And they don’t care what we think about it. They know that come next election, the probability is high, very high, there will be enough sheep to keep them in office office. Where they can continue protecting their hired position brothers. After all the core value is it’s the ruling class against everyone else.
He must be confident, just as the others seem to, that Sessions will not rock the boat. I can’t help but think that they really must have some damning info on him, he has to know he’s not doing the job he should be and he won’t quit. It all seems too fishy.
Technically Clapper didn’t leak to the news media. He leaked to CNN.

For El Jeffy to do the job described on paper, would require removal of all the
