Carlos Maza, the former host of Vox’s “Strikethrough,” is a vocal critic of the ultra-rich on social media. Yet, Maza himself is no stranger to wealth and luxury, a New York Post investigation found.
After tweeting his report, along with pictures of Maza’s family mansions, reporter Jon Levine had his account locked on Twitter.
Twitter initially withdrew the suspension, calling it an “an error,” but later locked Levine’s account again, saying it was in violation of the company’s “privacy information policy.” This forced Levine to delete his posts in order to get access to his account.
The hypocrisy and bias of Twitter is thick with this one, because Maza himself posted the same kind of expose’ on Twitter about James Carville. His account, however, was never in jeopardy.
Twitter is ridiculous.
