Consumer Reports

Most of the recalled products are store brands sold by popular retailers, including Good & Gather (Target), Great Value (Walmart), Higher Harvest (HEB), Publix, and Simple Truth (Kroger), among others.

The waffles were manufactured at TreeHouse Foods’ facility in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. According to the company, the listeria was detected during routine testing. No illnesses have been reported.

The recalled waffles come in an array of flavors and types, depending on the brand, including blueberry, buttermilk, buttermilk vanilla, chocolate chip, cinnamon, dark chocolate, homestyle, multigrain, pumpkin, and reduced-fat buttermilk.

The products are marked with “best by” dates as far out as November 2025. They carry numerous UPC and lot codes on the backs and ends of the cartons. TreeHouse’s website has a list of all the recalled waffles. More

“Did we decide to pivot from burning the plants down to introducing harmful organizims into the food stream?”

…Peobably. Its easier to do because food plants ALREADY have to hire all the world along with all the world’s hygine, or lack thereof.

Also, its the Federal Goverment personnel ALREADY IN THE PLANT that make that determination.

And its more destructive too. A fire wrecks a building. Lysteria wrecks a reputation.

“I would assume that a sign stating “Wash your hands before returning to work” in numerous shithole languages probably wouldn’t help.”

…no, and neither does the NO FOOT WASHING sign, but thats not the BIGGEST problem.

Muslim men wash their dicks after pissing, often in the sink next to you, or just in the urinal water. They also snort water and blow it out, leaving boogers all over the sink.

I dont know what Muslim WOMEN do.

And I aint about to ask.

  3. The CDC website claims that Listeria bacteria cannot be killed by cold, but it can be killed by “hot food temperatures.” They don’t say how hot, so I imagine you’re safe if you burn the heck out of your waffle before eating it. Mmmm. Mmmm. Mmmm. Yummy!

Why are U.S. companies buying waffles made in Canada? That doesn’t even seem right. My apologies, but if you’re so lazy you can’t shift yourself out of your easy chair to mix up a batch of waffles….you have bigger problems than Listeria.
