Two Nuclear Powers Divided by an Island

Russia and China share an Island in the middle of the Amur River (defining part of the Northeast border of China) called Bolshoi Ussuriysky on the Russian side and Heixiazi on the Chinese side. That was until the Chinese recently updated their maps and labeled the whole Island “Heixiazi” which didn’t go unnoticed by the Russians. Here

A little digging around on the internet and you find recent articles on how the two nations now have a new “joint communiqué” on how China and Russia are going to jointly develop Heixiazi peacefully. Here

This includes recent investments upgrading the island’s border crossing. Here

Why should is this be of any concern for us? Perhaps China is prepping to grab off a large chuck of Siberia using a divided island as their jumping off point. Watch

  1. Isn’t the old saying never to invade Russia from the west?

Just consider how many tanks and men Russia has lost putting NATO on call and settling ancient scores with Ukraine? China knows and probably moved up their timeline for destabilizing far Eastern Siberia and then marching right in unopposed.

I’m no friend of Putin or the Russian kleptocracy but an enfeebled Bear matched with an aggressive Dragon is not in the interest of this country or the rest of the world. Watch the video and ask yourself how unrealistic are any of the points the creator is making.

  2. The CCP wants everything south of the Amur River, including Vladivostok…for a start. They will try to take Mongolia as well.

Basically, anywhere a Chinese soldier or sailor has stepped foot on, real or imagined, at any point in history or pre-history, the CCP claims as their sovereign territory.

There is a reason Japan and the Soviet Union never declared war on each other in WWII…until the USSR swept into Manchuria and the Kurils, after Japan’s military implosian. They fought each other a few years earlier and won only pyrrhic victories, ending in stalemate. Neither side wanted a repeat. The USSR saw Communist China as a similar opponent.

Putin’s preoccupation with his western boundaries has emboldened his frenemies in the South and East. Xi insists on the Chinese Empire’s greatest claims and Erdogan insists on the Ottoman Empire’s greatest claims, including control over a pan-turkic federation.

A major complication for Xi’s ambitions in Siberia will be the Kim dynasty in North Korea. The sister has crazy eyes and wouldn’t hesitate to use any and all military resources against anyone who crosses her.

  3. CCP takes tray to the world buffet, loads it with a bunch of plates, heads to the cashier…and soon discovers they can’t afford what they took.

They’re dumber than OUR government. lol.

Trump already warned Putin about China back in the twenty-teens.
