Remember your post on that Japanese singer that had a big hit here in the US in the 60’s and died in the plane crash?  Well, I stumbled across an English translation of it.  I think you would enjoy to know what he was saying.
Isn’t it funny that two cultures thousands of miles apart would still sing about the same heartache-ish genres?  Anywho, I just thought you may get a kick out of it.    -Bman

  1. I remember Bob Dylan with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers playing that song at the Budokan in Tokyo early in ’86; no, they didn’t sing anything, it was strictly an instrumental. But they did a great job of it!

  2. I was in first grade when I heard that song. Loved it right away even though the melody was a bit sad. Definitely sounds like it was inspired by country (USA) music.
