VDH: There’s more to the anti-Trump Russiagate plot — and Tulsi Gabbard will unravel it

NYP- Victor Davis Hanson

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard just released a trove of apparently once-classified documents — with promises of much more to follow.

The new material describes the role of the Obama administration’s intelligence and investigatory directors — purportedly along with former President Barack Obama himself — in undermining the 2016 Trump presidential campaign.

In addition, their efforts extended to sabotaging the 2016-2017 presidential transition and, by extension, the first three years of the Trump presidency.

The released documents add some new details to what over the last decade has become accepted knowledge.

President Trumps presser from an hour ago was a must watch.

If you’re a veteran of the First Trump four, had the next four and are now on TrumpTwo then you are familiar with the tactics of the press.

    Take note of recent shifts.

They (MSM) are reactionary now. It’s a subtle shift.
I think it means the shoe is on the Big Foot.

Do not fall for any Alex Joneses or Massie msNBC mis-directors.

They have become transparent, if you look.

  2. Bad Brad – How does Russia Gate tie into the raids at Mara Lago?
It all ties in. First they dream up a premise, then they fabricate “evidence” to support it and that “justifies” action like Mara Lago and everything else they created to “Get Trump”!

  3. Wouldn’t it be great to see some complicit republicans hang? I mean you have all known about this shit since day one but it never gained traction. Why? Because the republicans sat on their asses and never said a fucking thing.

I’m thinking you answered your own question, but to recap, they used evidence that they fabricated to demand a search warrant apparently to go through a few underwear drawers. They deceived the court for political gain. What we’re seeing right now is the tip of the iceberg. I sure hope they have enough balls to follow this through. They better. I know Tulsi does. She might be a Honey Badger. She don’t care.

  5. Because my expectations are so low, given my understanding of the Deep State’s vitality, I try to adopt the “glass half full” approach. Yes, I’m thrilled that the Trump intelligence departments are keeping their promises and investigating past corruptions.

But in no way do I expect any real satisfaction in the form of grand jury empannelings, criminal indictments, or prison time.

True justice is a chimera, an illusion, something spoken fondly by those of my generation who understand that without the rule of law, our society is unsustainable, and lament its absence as a precursor of the inevitable.

By glad that some semblance of the truth is finally being exposed, but don’t expect much in the form of retribution; getting away with it is all part of the process.

  6. Bad Brad – Like Mike Tyson said: “everyone thinks they have a plan until they get punched in the face”.
Trump doesn’t even put the gloves on! People now think twice about fukin with the Trumpster and some “don’t even think about” it anymore! The man knows how to send a message!

  7. I have a theory. It’s something that I mentioned again to a prayer sister the other night, and something that keeps me from having any anxiety about the success of POTUS Trump and the future of our country with him and the people he chose to lead our many gov’t organizations.

To many the prophecies and premonitions of “playboy, jet-setter” Donald J. Trump becoming POTUS and leading our country back to God is highly fanciful. To many Christians his use of language, including the occasional F-Bomb, is proof positive he more likely is the anti-Christ.

But before there was Lance Wallnau and his early reference to Isiah 45 and King Cyrus, there was a man, Tom Zimmer, an American WWII vet living in Lereto, Italy, in 1983, who prophesied DJT’s rise to president and his conviction that The Donald would lead America back to God.

    https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/president-trump-will-lead-america-back-to-god-according-to-prediction-from-1980/

    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/04/flashback-1980s-holy-hermit-loreto-italy-predicted-donald/

Then there is Lance Wallnau and his hysterically funny (at the time) pronouncement that Trump actually was a redux of King Cyrus. His YouTube video documenting his first announcement of this was my introduction to Wallnau, a brilliant student of the Bible and engaging charismatic Christian minister. I haven’t listened to Wallnau for quite a while, but apparently he now describes Trump in his 2nd term as the Biblical Darius, in the spirit of Daniel Ch. 11.

Now, there is a LOT to pick on Wallnau over; for one thing he’s fairly ego-centric and likes the limelight (both, fairly unholy characteristics if you’re being very pious yourself), but, hey!, he’s just another fallible human, but he has devoted his life to spreading the Gospel.

My own theory isn’t based only in Wallnau’s words. There are plenty of others who have voiced the same belief that Trump has been anointed and protected by God “for such a time as this.” For example, there is another unlikely person, former firefighter Mark Taylor, who had dreams back in 2011 that were so compelling they resulted in a nation-wide prayer group for Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and election. More widely known figures, Franklin Graham and Robert Jeffress, also claim Trump’s election successes are an act of God’s mercy on America.

This lengthy preamble leads me to this:

The Word of God tells us a couple of things about how God makes a way for us when we are in sync with his will. There are numerous Bible stories and characters who were tasked with “impossible” goals who miraculously fulfilled their missions. If you’ve ever had the good fortune of being tasked yourself in this way, you know that, in the end, you’ve had to give up the notion of knowing how it will be accomplished and simply have faith that if God set you on the path he would make the way.

It is my resolved belief that our president has truly been chosen for his role in bringing our country back to God and that God will make a way for him and for us. Frankly, all the focus on making America wealthier, safer, stronger, etcetera, are not God’s goals for us, as much as in order to see these things come to fruition is to display his grace and mercy, and to provide proof of his existence and the fulfillment of his promises to a stiff-necked, forgetful, ungrateful, and unbelieving people.

I used to come away from my reading of the book of Isiah with a sense of bewilderment and extreme annoyance at the follies of the people of Israel. Every time they start building altars to their own gods they wind up wearing sack cloth and dumping ashes on themselves as they cry out for God’s forgiveness and rescue out of the hands of their enemies — both foreign and domestic. God delivers them, they celebrate it, they live abundant lives and then they start building altars anew to the gods of their fortunes.
Lather, rinse, repeat. As there is nothing in the evolutionary record to suggest that man’s brain has evolved since then, it should not be shocking to find that we are no more spiritually advanced than those big-brained people of the Biblical past. If anything, our gods today are quite a bit smaller and easily more fungible than the gods of God’s people, Israel.

The lesson of my theory is that whatever God Almighty has in mind for Trump, us, and America, it will reflect his perfect will and the timing of it. For some that means the Epstein client list is exposed, and for others it means Pam Bondi will prosecute obama and send him to jail. Some want to see their 401K break a million before they retire and others want to see the Democrats fully implode. Maybe all of those things will happen, maybe none will. In the meantime, whatever the outcome, woe unto us if we choose to ignore that God has made a way and my guess is he is getting fed up trying to convince us. Butler, PA, should have been proof enough. So stop worrying about the fiddly bits.

…and thank you for your attention to this matter.
