A vegan social media influencer decided to try a 30 day carnivore diet.

Alyse Parker, who has over 200,000 Instagram followers and over 700,000 YouTube subscribers, said that after she completed the challenge, she actually felt healthier.

The diet consisted of only meat and animal products.

“I swallowed my pride and decided I’d give it a shot,” she continued. “Full-on carnivore. I woke up the next morning feeling more mentally clear, focused, wholesome, and healthy than I had felt in years.”

Some of her viewers were not pleased with her choice and judged her for it.

  1. I tried carnivore diet after reading up on Jordan Peterson. It lasted about 3 days. I’ve been on and off juicing for years and lately picked it back up again. Juicing vegetables makes me feel so much better throughout the day, 3 8oz glasses. Don’t know why, but stress is reduced, sleep is better, energy is balanced, mental clarity… Do what works for you.

    were not worth the belches that tasted like a bowel movement. Ketosis. Ugh.

  4. Hmmm…eat a balanced diet, feel healthy! Who ever would have guessed!? Not that “influencer!” (I just can’t stop laughing that such an absurd label is applied to bloggers.)

  5. It is my understanding that humans are omnivores. This means we can consume both plant and meat. A vegan diet is fine as long as you can find a source for the substances the human body needs. We need protein for good health and other things found most readily in meat. I don’t believe we are designed to consume a total diet of only meat, that would not be healthy either. I think a balanced approach would be healthier. However I do agree that you should do what works for you. Personally I try to stay away from most packaged foods and eat fresh whenever possible. My number one rule is when I read the ingredients if I don’t know what the substances described are I don’t buy or eat it.

    Try Black Angus, any Angus with the word “loin” in it (includes other meats, also). “Magnificent”. Take advantage of the protein boost and work out during the intake.

    Although, the “Juice Man” became seriously ill (died, 2017 @ 93, Jack Lalanne died @ 97), I only juice vegs and fruits from my own garden and fruit trees.
