I watched the local news report again. What the officer thought were shots going off in their direction was actually the person behind the door with an ax striking the door with the blunt end.
Since when is holding an ax and swinging it hard enough to sound like gunshots going off “unarmed?”
Too many good cops have been killed on domestic disturbance calls, why take a chance.
They didn’t mention race so I assume the perp wasn’t black. Too bad for BLM because I heard there’s a nice mansion in Maui for sale if they could scrounge up enough grift money
