9. That is just wrong and bizarre. Sounds like music from “Mars Attacks!”. It’s our National Anthem, for Heaven’s sake!!! Making a joke out of our anthem just disgusts me; and that goes for the singers who add a bunch of notes.

    Seriously, judging only by pure aesthetics and not appropriateness, I would rate her high for phraseology, tone, tempo, cadence and over all interpretation. I liked it. I found myself silently singing the words with her cut.
