NBC: The 5,050-square-foot Spanish Revival is “waiting for that special person looking for a wonderful opportunity to remodel or develop.”
But the $2.75 million home at 2475 Glendower Place has a dark history.
The house is where Dr. Harold N. Perelson bludgeoned his wife to death with a hammer and attacked his 18-year-old daughter before killing himself “in a frenzy that he himself likened to a nightmare,” the Los Angeles Times wrote on Dec. 7, 1959. more

heh, scottie pellie showed the video of Gary Player’s HiO at Augusta – and didn’t even sneak in anything about being the racist, separatist, racist, controversial, racist, Greenest, racist, awesomest Private Golf Country Club in the whole world.
You’ll probably want to replace the olive green shag carpet.
I know it well
when my boys were young, I rewarded them with a 100 dollar bill each for going to the door at night, walking up to the front porch, knocking on the door, and waiting for 30 seconds, before being allowed to run down to the car!
If the evil Dr. killed his family and himself, how did the police know what he said to his daughter before he killed her???

If you read the story, he only killed his wife and not the 18 year old daughter. He only attacked her. There were 2 other children in the home at the time and were not harmed.
That house is just south of Griffith Park, and about 200 yards from one of Brad Pitt’s houses at 2705 Glendower Ave., and a half mile from one of Danny Devito houses at 2424 Nottingham Ave.
Yes, I have all of that shit mapped. ( I keep track of a lot of stuff in different mapping programs. Not this house though, until now; why delete the marker?)
Oooh! I should have zoomed out a little. About 3/4 of a mile to the south and west of this house is where W.C. Fields lived at 2015 De Mille Drive – named after Cecil B. DeMille – who also lived at 2000 DeMille drive.
Lot of great history in this map, let me tell you. 😉
